BALAAM  PROPHESIED  THAT  SHIPS OF TARSHISH  WOULD  LIVE  DURING THE DAY OF THE LORD

INTRODUCTION--

In Numbers chapters 22---24 we see how Balaam the prophet of God had a desire to do against ISRAEL , Num 24: 1, (using sorcery), but LORD would not allow it, 24: 1, 13. He prophesied for latter days (now), 24:14, His oracle, vs. 15 was prophesy for today, Philadelphia Church of God, (who had covenant, Ez 16: 8), was blessed, vs. 5,6, they would be in many waters, (as they were scattered because of iniquity, Ez 12: 3-15, they were in many nations),  vs. 7 (harlot, Eze. 16: 15, in many waters,-- is many nations, Re 17:5,15) that is--they are spiritually scattered in spiritual nations, Ez 12;15,32:9) But LORD as a unicorn and lion would devour them, as nations are His enemies, vs. 7(nations, the PCG would not do what He delights in His SANCTUARY, THAT MEANS THE MINISTRY ARE considered as LORD’S ENEMIES) . He prophesied of JESUS CHRIST’S WORK , vs. 8,9. Amalek was first, vs. 20 ---is as PCG which made the covenant , but PCG perishes, vs. 20. PCG is taken captive by Assyrian, vs. 22 (it had happened, Isa 14: 16, 25,26, Eze. 38: 17, as Assyrian the leader had taken control of God’s church, to do his own things, without doing High priest’s work as done by Priesthood, they had gone astray, Eze. 44: 15---therefore the leader is removed from his duties in church, Isa 22: 25, Ps. 74: 9)  Balaam said “then who will live when God does this?” vs. 23.---It is ships of Cyprus! In Hebrew it is Kittim (margin) KITTIM IS BROTHER OF Tarshish!- Gen 10:4, ships of brethren,  of coastlands!-now that was prophesied for latter days-IT HAD FULFILLED!

PROPHECY FOR LAST DAYS--

Num 24: 14  And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.

17---I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the sons of tumult. (rebellious sons would be destroyed---the enemies of church, the leaders who destroy church would come to nothing, when JESUS CHRIST does His short work, IN LATTER DAYS).

Balaam prophesied ---Num 24: 17—(prophecy of work of JESUS CHRIST)

17  I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, Jacob prophesied --

Gen 49: 10—(prophecy of work of JESUS CHRIST)

 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto Him shall the gathering of the people be.

Other prophecies of work of JESUS CHRIST

Heb 1:8  -- Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.--- Jer 23:6  In His days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is His name whereby He shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Mic 5:2  But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah,---- among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; (Ephratah is the birthplace of David, 1Sa 17:12).

Isa 11:10  And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse,

Ro 15:12- There shall be a root of Jesse, and He that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in Him shall the Gentiles trust.

Ro 1:3  Concerning His Son JESUS CHRIST  our Lord, which was made of the seed of David—

Isa 11:1  And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots---

SO IN LATTER DAYS JESUS CHRIST IS RULING AND GENTILES TRUST IN HIM. that is how we write these articles!

These gentiles’ are performing the work of Tarshish and Sheba (Ge 10: 4)—as written in –

 Therefore, Balaam’s prophecy is fulfilled now among us, gentiles of Isa 14: 30.

Balaam prophesied according to the knowledge given by God Almighty—

Nu 24:16  The utterance of him who hears the words of God, And has the knowledge of the Most High, Who sees the vision of the Almighty, Who falls down, with eyes wide open:

Therefore, he prophesied “truth” according to the word of God--

Here is Balaam’s prophecy--

Num 24: 23  And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this!

24  But ships shall come from the coasts of Cyprus, And they shall afflict Asshur and afflict Eber, And so shall Amalek, until he perishes. ---Cyprus is Kittim, ( says the margin). Kittim is brother of Tarshish, Ge 10: 4. those days families did business together, they are ship makers, gentiles, trading in ships.

Isa 60:9  Surely the isles shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

they shall afflict Asshur and afflict Eber, And so shall Amalek, until he perishes.

The gentiles afflict Assyrian, Eber, Amalek—we wrote above and in many other articles, that PCG leader is considered as Assyrian, (articles 43,44,45 of following website) Eber is a father descending from Shem , from Eber came Jacob, Gen 10, 1 Chr 1, (which genealogy is shown in the following article, No 196 of  http://www.restoringcaptivity.com), ----

in this article “Amalek” was explained above as Philadelphia Church of God, Nu 24:20 says Amalek was first among nations, (Amalek got the first born rights –it is Philadelphia Church of God, Eze. 16: 8, as Ephraim, read in Nos. 46, 47 of above website) they are chosen for ISRAEL of Ro 9: 4,6 to guard covenant and God’s service AGAINST WHICH THEY TRANSGRESSED , BREAKING THE COVENANT, Eze. 16: 59 )---therefore, the gentiles of Tarshish are afflicting Philadelphia Church of God leader,  AS LED BY JESUS CHRIST -- Ro 15:12- There shall be a root of Jesse, and He that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in Him shall the Gentiles trust.

And it is a correction work of JESUS CHRIST , Acts 15: 16, Amos 9: 11, so that ISRAEL chosen , Jn 6: 44, could be saved to continue the covenants of fathers with God AS A NEW COVENANT which enables through the SACRIFICE, AND ATONEMENT OF JESUS CHRIST. LORD’S work results in a holy ministry who would know to serve Him in His Righteousness!

Gentiles serve Him towards this goal, hence they work to favour JESUS CHRIST, as He requires men better than gold of Ophir!

Num 24: 5-6—Prophesied of Philadelphia Church of God –they were like cedars, Eze 31:8, Jer 22:23, cedars of garden of God, Eze 31:8 (these were descriptions of PCG, as Gerald Flurry too wrote in his booklets).

22  Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive. (in vs. 21 Kenites thought they were safe, just as last era church PCG thought----BUT Assyrian took them captive---Isa 14: 16, 25, 26, LORD sent the leaders to Babylon , the land of Chaldeans, Eze. 12: 13, and they were captive in Eze. 1: 1).

Num 24: 20--"Amalek was first among the nations, But shall be last until he perishes."---since these are prophecies for latter days, Amalek is Philadelphia Church of God who got the covenant rights, Eze. 16: 8, and broke it, Eze. 16: 59---they would perish (their way of ruling would be no more!---they DO NOT KNOW GOD’S LAWS OF HIS TABERNACLE! The leader’s responsibility removed, Isa 22: 25, gentiles were taken into house of God, Isa 56: 4-7), they ,

Philadelphia Church of God LEADERS were punished by His cup of red wine, Ps. 75: 8, in which there is fire and brimstone, Ps. 11: 6, they are sent into captivity, to give knowledge of Him and Him crucified, 1 Co 2: 2, then they get knowledge how to serve JESUS CHRIST, and JESUS CHRIST would END THEIR CAPTIVITY THUS, Eze. 39: 28,29, through His sacrifice, Ro 6: 3-7, giving them HIS RIGHTOEUSNESS UNTO HOLINESS ---TO SERVE HIM AS HE WILLS!

Num 24: 8  God brought him forth out of Egypt;

Eze 30:9  In that day shall messengers go forth from Me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.---the day of this vs. is Eze. 30: 3, LORD’S DAY SERVED BY GENTILES. –LORD mentions them as ships of Tarshish, Isa 60: 9.

LORD CONSIDERS Egypt---Pharaoh –his horses—pillar of a cloud,--- pillar of fire,--Ex. 13: 21--it was a cloud and darkness to them, (to Egyptians), Ex 14:20.

SO CONSIDERING ISRAEL AS Egyptians, or Ethiopians,(Am 9:7  Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto Me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt?)----LORD considers they are in darkness,

When He came in CLOUDS, Eze. 30: 3!

Num 24: 8  God brought him forth out of Egypt; -AS UNICORN------He shall eat up the nations His enemies, (LORD considers as having ISRAEL scattered in “nations”---SO HE WOULD EAT THEM UP AS A UNICORN!

LORD making ISRAEL as Egyptians and other nations, Eze. 12: 15, sent them into captivity, brings them back from those nations—Jer 23: 7,8

Jer 23: 7,8—

7  Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

8  But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them;

THAT’S HOW THE LORD WOULD MAKE THE SECOND EXODUS, Isa 11: 11.

Ministry did not want right prophecies, Isa 30: 10, therefore vs. 13 happened, (they fell suddenly, they did not know, they are blind, Re 3: 17, Ez 12: 13-15)--- THEY WERE BROKEN BY JESUS CHRIST “so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth”, Isa 30: 14!

LEADERS WERE BROKEN ---NO SHERD EVEN REMAINED!

LORD MADE THE LEADER AS Pharaoh , Ro 9: 17, in His short work, vs. 28---

He sent them to Egypt, to show a mighty work in a second exodus!

Num 24: 8  God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: --- pierce them through with His arrows.

Ps 92:10  But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

LORD ACTS—like a unicorn, sending His arrows, ---David knew that LORD would be like a unicorn and would raise ruins of David’s throne, and would be anointed FRESHLY! ---JESUS CHRIST WOULD MAKE ALL THINGS NEW!

Leaders would be made in newness of life, by His sacrifice, Ro 6: 3-7.

He sends arrows to ISRAEL leaders, of Ro 9: 4,6, through gentile work, because –they sinned against Him,  Jer 50:14---Laodiceans getting His arrows, La 3:13, arrows of famine, for their destruction, Eze 5:16.

Balaam prophesied ---Num 24: 9—

He bows down, he lies down as a lion; And as a lion, who shall rouse him?’

Jacob prophesied --Gen 49: 9—

Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

LORD as a lion, and His people as Egypt and Assyria, Ho 11:10, ----

LORD as a bear, and a lion, Ho 13:8,

AND HE SAYS---HO 13: 9-- O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in Me is thine help.---10  I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities?

NOT PCG---NOT Gerald Flurry----NOT H.W.Armstrong ---NOT GENTILES –NOR SHIPS OF Tarshish---WHO SAVES ISRAEL---BUT JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF THROUGH HIS GRACE, GIVING THEM THE BLESSINGS OF HIS SACRIFICE, Ro 6: 3-7, TO MAKE ALL LEADERS OF GOD’S CHURCH GOLD AND SILVER, to serve Him, Ro 6: 19,22, Mal 3: 2,3—

So we see how all prophecies are fulfilling ---

Lu 24:44  -- These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.

Num 24: 1 -Now when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he did not go as at other times, to seek to use sorcery, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

2---And Balaam raised his eyes, and saw Israel encamped according to their tribes; and the Spirit of God came upon him.

Not only the major prophets---but even the UNFAITHFUL TYPE OF BALAAM’S prophecies are fulfilling ---BECAUSE THEY ARE GOD’S WORDS---GIVEN TO HIM!----Spirit of God, the words, Jn 6: 63 came upon him!

Just like David was given His words,

2 Sam 23: 2  The Spirit of the LORD spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.

3  The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.

Can we see the great work of JESUS CHRIST?

He had put words in the mouths of people who lived long ---long years before us----AND HE GETS THOSE THINGS DONE BY MERE MEN, who live today! ---could we men do wonders like that?

SHOULD NOT ISRAEL HIS PEOPLE, BOW DOWN IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIS LOVE TO OVERSHADOW THEM?

ALL SHOULD GIVE UP THEIR PRIDE AND VANITY BEFORE SUCH A GREAT GOD, JESUS CHRIST, THE WONDERFUL COUNSELLOR!

ALL PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING BE TO THE WONDERFUL COUNSELLOR OF ISRAEL AND ALL GLORY BE TO HIM, AMEN.
