HE MAKETH ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES

PSALM 23

1 - A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2  He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.

Ps. 23: 3  He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

HOW WILL DAVID DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER?

Ps. 61: 5-  For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.

In many psalms, David made vows to God to prolong His life to keep the covenant forever. He knew that God had given foreigners who fear God, as a heritage to continue David’s name, 2 Sam 22 : 44-45, because a man as an enemy in David’s throne had ruined the SANCTUARY –vs. 49--

2 SAM 22: 49  And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.--50  Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the Gentiles, and I will sing praises unto thy name.

Ps. 61: 6  Thou wilt prolong the king’s life: and his years as many generations.

7  He shall abide before God for ever:

HIS YEARS WOULD BE AS HIS GENERATIONS---MEN AS DAVID WOULD CONTINUE TO SERVE GOD, FOREVER, THEN THE COVENANT WITH DAVID WOULD CONTINUE—

Just as David prophesied , the gentiles are serving as David now, Zec 12: 8, as LORD leads them, Zec 12: 8-10. then the covenant would be preserved, and when captivity of ISRAEL is restored, they would continue as David did, a governor would come from among them, Jer 30: 21.

Isa 14: 30 says that ISRAEL root is killed by God, Isa 5:24 says of the root as rottenness, Because they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts, And despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

But---Isa 14: 30 says of the 1^st born of the poor gentiles, that they feed,

And they work with the words of God which they eat, as land was given to them in Judah, , Jer 39: 10.

We have green leaves, green pastures for the ISRAEL sheep of God.

Therefore just as David prophesied , the LORD is leading ISRAEL ministry who are as Laodiceans with GREEN PASTURES through the GENTILES of whom David prophesied in 2 Sam 22: 44-45!

LEARNING LORD’S VISION FROM THE ARTICLES OF RESTORING CAPTIVITY.

4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.—although the Laodiceans made a covenant with death, LORD had annulled it by an overflowing scourge from JESUS CHRIST - Isa 28:15, 18.

“parable of the eagle”-to the house of ISRAEL --in Eze. 17 explains—

Eze. 17: 9  "Say, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: "Will it thrive? Will he not pull up its roots, Cut off its fruit, And leave it to wither? All of its spring leaves will wither, And no great power or many people Will be needed to pluck it up by its roots.

10  Behold, it is planted, Will it thrive? Will it not utterly wither when the east wind touches it? It will wither in the garden terrace where it grew."’"

The ROOTS OF house of ISRAEL ARE PULLED UP BY THE LORD!

Leaves wither! (NOT GREEN!)

LORD DOES NOT REQUIRE MANY PEOPLE TO PLUCK IT UP! (LORD has very few, one works as a thousand, Isa 60: 22, as David, Zec 12: 8). EAST WIND—touches it ---then it will WITHER—

Ps 48:7  As when You break the ships of Tarshish With an east wind.

LORD SENT THIS LEADER WHO BROKE THE COVENANT , Eze. 16: 59, 44: 7—TO Babylon –Eze. 17: 19  Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: "As I live, surely My oath which he despised, and My covenant which he broke, I will recompense on his own head.-- 20  "I will spread My net over him, and he shall be taken in My snare. I will bring him to Babylon and try him there for the treason which he committed against Me.

Eze. 17: 12  "Say now to the rebellious house:-- king of Babylon went to Jerusalem and took its king and princes, and led them with him to Babylon.—13-- made a covenant with him,--14-   ‘that the kingdom might be brought low---15- sending his ambassadors to Egypt,---- Can he break a covenant and still be delivered?---16- with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die. 17- ‘Nor will Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company do anything in the war,---

We had shown---the leader was as Pharaoh ruling Egypt ---then he was made as Nebuchadnezzar who has many nations, (not only Egypt, but many nations as {ministry is compared to “nations”, Eze. 12: 15}---Nebuchadnezzar rules them all!).

HE SHALL DIE—VS. 16!----we had shown that the leaders are spiritually dead, Eze. 9: 6 too, this is blindness of Laodiceans!

Then what did David request God ?

Ps. 23: 5---  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

The ones who represent David are gentiles , Zec 12: 8, {2 Sam 22: 44-45}, anointed with oil, Zec 4: 12-14, Re 11: 2-4 (gentiles of outer court). 

LORD DOES NOT REQUIRE MANY PEOPLE!

Judg 7: 12--Midianites and Amalekites, all the people of the East, were lying in the valley as numerous as locusts; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the seashore in multitude. ----BUT ONLY 300 PEOPLE WERE SELECTED BY GOD , they were who lapped water from river like dogs, ---vs. 7--LORD said to Gideon, "By the three hundred men who lapped I will save you, and deliver the Midianites into your hand. (out of TEN THOUSAND LORD selected only THREE HUNDRED who were humble, vs. 3,5,6).

Then JESUS CHRIST WOULD NOT REQUIRE MANY TO WIN OVER Philadelphia Church of God, Laodiceans!---PCG is fighting God!

Ps. 23: 5---  Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

TO CONTINUE DAVID’S COVENANT –LORD anointed gentiles with oil---and PROVIDE FOOD BEFORE HIS THRONE FOR HIS ENEMIES---SO THAT THEY BE REVIVED, Acts 15: 16, Amos 9: 11 !

David’s cup runneth over---overflowing with LORD’S words!

1. JESUS CHRIST creates His Tabernacle as the stone of ISRAEL , Ge 49: 24, making a holy priesthood as living stones of His TABERNACLE , who should dwell with Him, Re 22: 3-5.
2. He creates His will of  ISRAEL, and all flesh to worship Him on Sabbaths, new moons and Holy days, Is 66:23.
3. Since His way is in the SANCTUARY , Ps. 77:13-He performed all the above as the Holy God, since He is Holy.
4. Moses was told to remove his shoes when he stood before God, Ex 3:5, as God is Holy------then a humble people who could worship God in Righteousness unto holinesses IS REQUIRED to serve Him in the temple to do the daily and continual to offer His sacrifices of thanksgiving an d praise.

5. JESUS CHRIST made supplications to lead ISRAEL , Jer 31:9 as High Priest  

      of Melchisedec order, Heb 8:1,2 LORD made Himself a sacrifice unto

      holiness through Baptizm unto His death, Ro 6: 3-7, which gives His

      rigteousness, vs 19, 22, First the ministry HAS TO BE PURIFIED, Mal 3: 2,3.

6. All are sinners and had failed through law of Moses, and that is why JESUS CHRIST made Himself the perfect sacrifice to make eternal things. ETERNAL THINGS WOULD NOT BE GIVEN TO A WICKED GENERATION--- WICKEDNESS should not be MADE ETERNAL!
7. Since LORD’s ways are in SANCTUARY , Ps. 77:13 we should see the SANCTUARY ways through which LORD and His people are to serve in His most Holy SANCTUARY.

JESUS CHRIST fulfilled COMMANDMENTS with His love, Ro 13:8-10

We should know the SANCTUARY laws to perform, the scriptures guide, we should study them.

Here is a list , the details to be found in scriptures--

Keeping Sabbaths,  new moons, Isa 66: 23, holy days, daily and continual, praising and thanking God, prayers, supplications, fastings, intercessions, seeking forgiveness (olden days they were sin- sacrifices to make atonement),  repentance, performing laws of the covenant , preaching and teaching them to next generations, prepare  next generation to serve the LORD  in Righteousness unto holiness, Ps. 78: 5-8, SO THAT HOLY ISRAEL GENERATIONS WOULD CONTINUE-Then only eternal covenant could be continued.---Then only God would be God of ISRAEL –and ISRAEL would be His people

God always remain faithful to the covenant as He is perfect and Holy!

BUT PEOPLE COULD BREAK THE COVENANT IF THEY DO NOT REMAIN FAITHFUL—THIS IS WHY FAITH CHAPETR 11 –teach us of the ancestors looking forward to the day of JESUS CHRIST –AS THEY KNOW ONLY JESUS CHRIST WOULD be able to give the eternal inheritance----Moses and Elijah knew that  LORD had to die, they spoke of His death, Lk 9:31---unless JESUS CHRIST made Himself the perfect sacrifice –Laws of God would never be written in their minds, JESUS CHRIST made a better covenant , Heb 8:6-13. Then only ISRAEL know their Holy perfect God, JESUS CHRIST !

God was angry with ISRAEL ,because they did not trust in His salvation. When Paul preached Mystery of Christ, He preached JESUS CHRIST and Him crucified.

Then we are to believe 2 things- His name and Him crucified---Look at Mt 1:21--And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.

1. So His name means saving His people from sin. Unless He saves His people from sin, one could not get Righteousness unto holiness to serve Him-then if Levi (ministry) is not saved from sin----they cannot serve Him in Eternal covenant . Notice He had not produced a seed after Mt 1:17, which means after Him there is no record of a ISRAEL generation. Therefore He had to die to see a seed of His, Is 53:10

Therefore when you believe His name---you ought to believe that He would save you from sin—How?

2. By believing in “Him Crucified”— means one has to be baptized unto death, Ro 6:3-7 to believe in THE BENEFITS from His crucifixion.

When you get that baptism you get the Righteousness unto holiness, Ro 6:19,22 TO SERVE HIM, VS. 6----That is how Zec 14:20 happens. When you get this baptism you get the cup of blessings given in Passover, 1 Co 11:24-26 (you proclaim death, it is the cup of new covenant in LORD’s blood).

LORD set dates----they are SANCTUARY laws. Baptism to be taken on Passover, that is HIS DEATH REMEMBERED at Passover in Ezekiel temple-Ez 45:21.

Passover is a feast of seven days (Ez 45:21). (Feast of Unleavened Bread is called Passover-Lk 22:1

Ex. 12:18---In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

19  Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

14^th day at evening until 21^st day evening (last day)

(Since Philadelphia Church of God keeps 8 days here is a new way to count-counting backwards.

21^st day evening to 20^th day evening-1 day

20^th day evening to 19^th day evening-2 days

19^th day evening to 18^th day evening-3 days

18th day evening to 17th day evening-4 days

17^th day evening to  16^th day evening-5 days

16^th day evening to 15^th day evening-6 days

15^th day evening to 14^th day evening-7 days.

If you keep it on 13^th day evening-it will be 8 days !

Then it is not according to LORD ’S ordinances !

Ezekiel temple ordinances begin, Ez 43:18-27, again-Ez 43:18-25 ( In fact even the Feast of Tabernacles is to be kept on Passover days, vs. 25)

Ezekiel temple leads to city of new Jerusalem –

Eze. 48: 35-- the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

Re 21: 3--Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Re 21;10 – great and high mountain. Great city holy Jerusalem –same in Eze. 40:2, therefore IN Eze. 40, the LORD showed the tabernacle, in New Jerusalem –Ez 48:35 is Re 21: 3. ---SAME CITY HOLY JERUSALEM .

Ps 137:6 ---Jerusalem Above my chief joy.

Ga 4:26  but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Jerusalem above is not physical Jerusalem!

It belongs to God and ISRAEL of Ro 9: 4,6---God and His people dwelling with Him!

Ez 48:35---It is the same place–Jer 30:18 and a governor in vs. 21-

Ps. 72:18-19—

18--Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.

19  And blessed be His glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with His glory; Amen, and Amen.

When New Jerusalem (bride adorned for JESUS CHRIST ) comes down (ready)- the tabernacle of God is with men!

MAY HOUSE OF ISRAEL EAT THE GREEN PASTURES GOD HAD GIVEN TO THEM, PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING BE TO JESUS CHRIST, amen.

God had created men of tabernacle to dwell with Him, Hallelujah! All praise and thanksgiving to JESUS CHRIST, LET THE WHOLE EARTH BE FILLED WITH HIS GLORY, AMEN AND AMEN.
