ISRAEL in Covenant
possessed Canaan--
Moses was told--Deut. 32: 49--behold
the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a
possession:
Comparing Gen. 12:1-6,
Gen 15:18,20,21 and in Eze. 16:1-8 we
see how MOST HIGH made the Covenant with PCG in latter days.
David’s COVENANT too was
given to PCG, Isa 22; 20-24, but when Covenant was broken, Eze. 44: 7, David’s
key too was removed, Isa 22: 25.
MOST HIGH required
Abraham to leave UR to land of Canaan, to bless Abraham he came to Canaan, and
Canaanites were in the land, Gen. 12; 1-6.
So we see Jebusites, Amorites, Hittites as in Eze. 16: 1-3, had
their nativity in Canaan.
Eze. 16:
4-8 says—MOST HIGH made PCG to LIVE, VS. 6, MADE COVENANT, vs. 8,
made to THRIVE like a PLANT in the FIELD, vs. 7—and made COVENANT, vs. 8.
AS A PLANT is explained in Eze.15
PCG as WOOD of VINE, is
USELESS, and utterly useless when the fire devours it----MOST HIGH GIVES UP
JERUSALEM, Eze. 15:6, MOST HIGH had set HIS EYES against them, Eze.
15: 7, BECAUSE OF HER
persisting UNFAITHFULNESS, vs. 8) That is WIFE, PCG Eze. 16:8 is NOT FAITHFUL TO
HUSBAND OF CHURCH, THE GOD of WHOLE EARTH, Isa 54:5,
Therefore GOD required
PCG leader --Eze. 16:2—cause JERUSALEM to know her abominations.
LORD brought Abraham from
Ur of Chaldean, to land of Canaan to inherit it, Gen. 15:7. Look at the people
lived in Canaan, Canaanites lived in the Land, Gen. 12:6, Gen. 15:19-21.

Abraham proved His faith
to be established in the EVERLASTING COVENANT
Abraham obeyed to leave
Ur of Chaldeans to go to Canaan—Gen. 12:1-4 (Abraham was 75 years then vs. 4)
He had 318 trained servants born in his house, Gen. 14: 14, he had other
possessions like cattle, sheep (in those days they had no roads, transport
system –it was a difficult task to leave to Canaan —BUT Abraham readily obeyed
MOST HIGH having Faith in possessor of all things in world.
Abraham had faith to
believe that he would have a son from his own loins—he believed so when he was
99 years, Gen. 17:1, he was 100 years when Isaac was born, Gen. 21:5
God knew faith of Abraham, that he would teach his children
Gen 18: 19-I know him, that he
will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the
way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon
Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Abraham believed the promise of his descendants would be as
stars—Gen. 15:4-6
Abraham knew to make sacrifices built on altar to the LORD, in
Hebron dwelling by terebinth trees of Mamre, Gen. 13: 18, LORD taught him
animal and bird sacrifices, Gen. 15:7-10,17 –and LORD made the Covenant the
SAME DAY, vs. 18.
That is MOST
HIGH taught Abraham that sacrifices were needed for the Covenant.
Therefore when Abraham was required to sacrifice Isaac, in faith
Abraham made preparations for Isaac to be sacrificed, Gen. 22--
But it
was ONLY TO TEST Abraham (Read in Gen. 22) as JESUS CHRIST was the true seed,
Gal.3:16, to be sacrificed as Isaac in a figurative sense, Heb. 11:17-19, because true sons for Abraham for Covenant would be
made as sons of JESUS CHRIST through baptizm, Gal. 3:26-29
Abraham paid tithes as He believed that MOST HIGH was the High
Priest of Melchisedec Order, Gen. 14:18-20.
Abraham built an
altar to the LORD at Bethel and called on the name of the LORD, Gen.
12:7- And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto
thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the
LORD, who appeared unto him.
8 And
he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and
pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai
on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called
upon the name of the LORD.
SO BETHEL means where Abraham made an ALTAR UNTO
MOST HIGH –when he was promised by MOST HIGH TO GIVE THE LAND OF Canaan to
descendants of Abraham!
Abraham paid tithes, Gen.
14:18-20—Abraham made altar at Bethel, Gen. 12:8, Jacob too promised to pay tithes at Bethel, Gen. 28:
13—19—vs. 19
And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that
city was called Luz at the first. {Bethel: that is,
The house of God }
Well, we remember how PCG wrote that
they would build colleges to exalt H. W. Armstrong --
Gerald Flurry wrote in-FINISHING THE ELIJAH WORK
--“Herbert W. Armstrong had three colleges-- We (PCG) are being prepared to establish colleges all over
this Earth”
Comment—he referred to --1 Sam 7: 16--Bethel, and Gilgal,
and Mizpeh, and judged Israel in all those places.
What is prophesied for those
colleges????--Am 5:5 -But seek not Bethel,
nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely
go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.

Gen. 15:1 --After these things the

to ALL in HIS EVERLASTING COVENANT—

Gen 15:4 says LORD would give Abraham a son from his own
body.
Gen. 17; 8- And I will give
unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger,
all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession;
and I will be their God.—the COVENANT said in vs. 9 is AN
EVERLASTING COVENANT---Canaan given as everlasting possession!---this is how PCG gets it as they are
prophesied to have come from Canaan, Eze. 16; 1-3.
9 And God said unto Abraham,
Thou shalt keep My covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their
generations.
ONE THING we have to understand
is---Abraham did not know that GOD WOULD BE IN CHRIST, 2 co 5; 19, and that
LORD would be BORN AS TRUE SEED OF Abraham, Gal. 3: 16---Abraham BELIEIVED THAT
ALMIGHTY WOULD ESTABLISH THE PROMISED EVERLASTING COVENANT!
· For
Isaac was only a FIGURE—Heb. 11: 17-19 –it was CHRIST who was to die, ONLY GOD
COULD GIVE EVERLASTING LIFE, to people by HIS BAPTIZM, Rom. 6: 22, 23. EVERLASTING THINGS are CREATED
through sacrifice of LAMB, 1 Pe 1: 19-20.
Gen. 17: 10
This is My covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and
thy seed after thee; Every
man child among you shall be circumcised.—in EVERLASTING COVENANT hearts would be
circumcised by BAPTIZM, Col 2: 11-13—it is by baptism of Ro 6: 3-11, which gives Righteousness unto Holiness to serve ALMIGHTY MESSIAH,
Ro 6: 19, through GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE, vv 22, 23
Gen. 15:5-6—MOST HIGH said descendants of Abraham would be as stars of
heaven and Abraham believed,
Gen. 15; 7 And He
said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of
the Chaldees, to give thee this land to
inherit it.—He was brought to Canaan to establish COVENANT, and to
show Abraham which land His descendants would receive --
And Abraham required a sign that he would inherit Canaan,
vs. 8—Vs. 8 And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know
that I shall inherit it?
IN Gen. 15: 9—17 we see THE SIGN LORD GAVE
LORD made Abraham to understand
How He would ACCEPT His
sacrifices through
PERFORMING WHAT LORD SAYS—
By that Abraham
UNDERSTOOD that he SHOULD OBEY THE LORD
TO DO WHATEVER ALMIGHTY
REQUIRED--
LORD made Abraham to offer sacrifices
And LORD provided the FIRE to
prove HIS CONFIRMATION

Then
LORD showed Abraham that he has to make a sacrifice (which would confirm the promise---as
vs. 9 onwards show)
Gen. 15: 9 And He said unto
him, Take Me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old,
and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.—
MOST
HIGH was establishing those sacrifices in OLD COVENANT, Lev. 1; 10-17.---Please
understand—at that time, Abraham had not known about old
covenant SACRIFICES which was required from ISRAEL—
10 -And he took unto him all these,
and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the
birds divided he not. Abram followed instructions from LORD
–at that time Abram was the name of Abraham—as in vs. 11--11- And when the fowls came down upon the carcases,
Abram drove them away.---SO ABRAM DROVE FOWLS
that came upon carcasses--
(These sacrifices were
according to Lev. 1:10-17 which produce a sweet aroma to the LORD.
Gen. 15:11 shows
that Abraham did not allow vultures to eat them.
Abraham was made to sleep to show him IN A DREAM
The prophecies for his descendants (ISRAEL)
Gen. 15:12 And when the sun
was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great
darkness fell upon him.
LORD showed Abraham that a DARK
PERIOD for ISRAEL would come—“horror of great
darkness”—it is about them being as SLAVES IN Egypt—as in
vs. 13--13 -And he said unto Abram, Know of a
surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not
theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;--this is ISRAEL in Egypt
· LORD showed in the DREAM to Abraham that GOD WOULD JUDGE EGYPTIANS—14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve,
will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.—Egypt was judged with plagues when Pharaoh did not allow
ISRAEL to go to wilderness to WORSHIP MOST HIGH, Ex 5: 1-2. ---Ex 3: 22, Ex
11: 2, --Ex 12: 35 shows
how ISRAEL was required to take SILVER, GOLD from Egypt! (If you think clearly
–this is to
enable proving ISRAEL making a calf to worship, Ex 32: 24!) then
ISRAEL would have to WAIT FORTY YEARS IN WILDERNESS! Then
HIS COUNSEL to make them stay in wilderness FORTY YEARS would come to pass!
LORD creates things for HIS WORDS TO FULFILL! That is ALMIGHTY POWER OF LORD to
FULFILL WHATEVER HE COUNSELS!
We as studying Bible—see how LORD has
SET TIMES for all His works, and how HIS WORDS FULFILL—and HE KNOWS the FUTURE
what HE HAD COUNSELED TO DO –and those things would be DONE AT HIS SET TIMES!
Gen. 15: 15- And thou shalt go to
thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.—all worship in generations, Ps. 61: 6—therefore,
Abraham died after he performed what MOST HIGH required of him!
16 -But in the fourth generation
they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not
yet full.—ISRAEL coming to Canaan from Egypt
was thus made known to Abraham, when they were returning Amorites were
punished, king Sihon was killed, Nu 21: 21-25 (LORD is ANGRY with
Amorites who made ISRAEL follow idols, 1 Ki 21: 26)
In Amos 2; 9—10-
LORD reminds of Amorites who were like giants whom LORD DESTROYED TO SAVE AND BROUGHT ISRAEL from the land of Egypt,
and leading them forty years through the wilderness, to possess the
land of the Amorite.
Am
2: 11 says “I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for
Nazarites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD.--12 But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and
commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not.
14 -Therefore the
flight shall perish from the swift, and the strong shall not strengthen his
force, neither shall the mighty deliver himself:--please read
Amos 2 to see what God has to say of present ISRAEL!
Well, coming back to Gen. 15: 16—Abraham getting
up from deep sleep, --Gen. 15: 17 - And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold
a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
So LORD SENT THE FIRE for the SWEET
AROMA to be accepted from Abraham ---THAT WAS HOW GOD gave A SIGN to Abraham,
and--18 In the same
day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed
have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river
Euphrates:
19- The Kenites, and the
Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites,
20 -And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the
Rephaims,
21 -And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
So the COVENANT was made
with descendants of Abraham in Canaan, amidst the above people in the land
(Read in book of Joshua) .
And ISRAEL (in history) was sent to Canaan as promised land, they
acquired land as inheritance in lands of Canaan, and began to SERVE IN 1st COVENANT,
read in JOSHUA.
So Gen. 15; 19-21 shows the people
who lived in land of Canaan –and from them descended PCG-- PCG which was chosen to be in COVENANT, Eze. 16: 8-14, ---they as NATIVITY IN CANAAN,
father as Amorite, given the responsibility of serving in JERUSALEM, Eze. 16:
1-3,
ELIJAH proved GOD OF
ISRAEL as GOD OF Abraham, Isaac, ISRAEL--1 Kin 18: 36- And it came to
pass at the time of the
offering of the evening
sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and
of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that
I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at
thy word.---LORD GIVES THE WORD to HIS PROPHETS to PRAISE GOD OF ISRAEL!

Look at Acts. 15: 17—the GENTILE WORK serve JESUS CHRIST to make OTHERS

EVERLASTING COVENANT has to be ESTABLISHED BY A LIVING CHRIST WHO WOULD NOT DIE
ANYMORE, it is HIS BLOOD that is COUNSELED FOR EVERLASTING COVENANT, Heb. 13;
20, FOR CREATOR GOD KNOWS HOW TO ESTABLISH HIS EVERASTING THINGS!
LORD WOULD BE FAITHFUL TO COVENANT –Deut. 7: 7-12.
Deut. 7: 7-- The LORD did not set his love
upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for
ye were the fewest of all
people:
8-But because the LORD
loved you, and because he would keep the oath which He had sworn unto your
fathers, hath the LORD brought you
out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the
hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

LORD thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with
