HOW TO WALK IN THE SPIRIT, GAL 5: 25

INTROUDUCTION

The LORD gives understanding how we could avoid sin because He says sinful will not enter into the NEW CITY of JESUS CHRIST, Re 22: 14, 15. and He says in vs. 11- He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

THIS IS THE LAST TIMES, we should come to REPENTANCE AND BE BAPTISED UNTO HIS DEATH, RO 6: 3-7,  Otherwise—WE COULD BE ETERNALLY CONDEMNED, Jude 1:7 

• 1Jo 5:18  We know that whoever is born of God does not sin;
• 1Jo 3:6  Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

When we are baptised unto the death of JESUS CHRIST, Ro 6: 6 admonishes us not to serve sin, 2 Tim 2: 19 says to depart from sin, therefore we do not sin, as we should be obedient to JESUS CHRIST.

When you sin and do not know Him, And do not obey the gospel,

YOU ARE PUNISHABLE ETERNALLY--

• 2 The 1: 8  In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: --9  Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord,

THEREFORE WE SHOULD EXAMINE AS THESE ARE THE LAST DAYS—

THE LORD HAD TAUGHT HOW WE SHOULD WALK ACORDING TO HIS SPIRIT—

IN THE LAST DAYS HE HAD GIVEN KNOWLEDGE HOW TO DISCERN LUST OF THE FLESH FROM FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, Gal 5: 19-21, and Gal 5: 22-24-learning good and evil, Heb 5: 14

Our articles had taught Israel and all flesh (learning from the holy spirit, Acts 2: 17,18) to believe in JESUS CHRIST so that they do not die in sins if they believe JESUS CHRIST —

The LORD had SENT THE HELPER, THE HOLY SPIRIT so that Israel would learn of JESUS CHRIST to eradicate sins from their lives, TO BE WITH HIM ,TO MAKE THE NEW COVENANT.

Acts 2: 28-the ways of life has to be taught by JESUS CHRIST.

JESUS CHRIST puts His people under His law, teaches them how to get rid of sins, and when they become lawful, THEY WOULD NOT BE UNDER LAW ANYMORE, they cannot be condemned by law, Rom 8: 1—then, THEY ARE PERFECT AND HOLY AS HE IS! People after baptizm of Ro 6: 3-7, are admonished not to serve sin after the LORD makes them perfect, without sin through Ro 6: 3-7.

Many articles to restore captives, have given all that knowledge—and it is the work of the LORD, giving meat, to discern both good and evil, Heb 5:14, Rom 9: 28, 29-30 (through gentile seed), Re 11: 2-4 (outer court gentiles of Rom 11).

• THE LORD HAD TAUGHT HOW WE SHOULD WALK!

When the LORD comes to give rewards according to the work of men, Re 22: 12, commandment keepers (commandments of JESUS CHRIST) would enter the city, vs. 14, those who are doing against the commandments would be OUTSIDE, vs. 15.

THEN ONE SHOULD IDENTIFY the commandments led by His spirit, the word of God, Jn 6: 63.

The word of God gives knowledge of JESUS CHRIST, and this knowledge has to bear fruits, 2 Pet 1: 8; vss 5-7 describes the FRUITS, and vs. 4 says that ONE HAS TO ESCAPE FROM THE “corruption that is in the world through lust” TO PARTAKE OF THE DIVINE NATURE.

THEN ONE SHOULD IDENTIFY LUSTS---and where are those recorded?—Gal 5: 19-21, and such lusts are recorded in Re 22: 15 too—both Gal 5: 21, and Re 22: 15 SAYS THAT THOSE WHO ARE COMMITING SUCH LUSTS OF THE FLESH would be outside the Kingdom of God!

Gal 5: 19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Re 22: 15- 15  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

On the other hand, if you are led by the spirit, Gal 5: 25, you produce FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, Gal 5: 22-23, and YOU WOULD NOT BE UNDER LAW—

• Vs. 25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
• Vs. 22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,---23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
• But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Therefore we are to discern good things and evil things, and thereby CHOOSE THE GOOD TO BE IN THE Kingdom of God!---all these past years we had been in church WAITING FOR THIS HOPE to be in the Kingdom of God!

Then be a doer of the word TO BE LED BY THE SPIRIT, the LORD said, eat every word of God, Mt 4:4, Lu 4:4, and when you get knowledge after eating those words, you are to produce fruits of that knowledge, 2 Pet 1: 8, and those fruits are to escape from corruption of lusts, 2 Pet 1: 4, and we see the LUSTS mentioned in Gal 5: 19-21---THEN WE HAVE TO PROVE OURSELVES TO JESUS CHRIST that we ARE ABLE TO PRODUCE GOOD FRUITS, then we WOULD GET AN ENTRANCE TO THE Kingdom of God,

2Pe 1:11  for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

THEREFORE WE SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE TO KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF JESUS CHRIST WHEN HE FORGIVES US THROUGH HIS GRACE AND MERCY, when we get BAPTIZED UNTO HIS DEATH, Ro 6: 3-7.

When we are given the Holy spirit, IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SEARCH FOR SPIRITUAL THINGS, as the LORD says WALK BY SPIRIT, Gal 5: 25.

Remember that Holy spirit is the WORD THAT QUICKENS TO Kingdom of God, JN 6: 63.

THEREFORE WE ARE TO EXAMINE ALL COMMANDMENTS, COUNSEL, REPROOFS, JUDGMENTS, and ALL SORTS OF INSTRUCTIONS to eat them and produce fruits FROM THOSE!

If you follow the instruction to get the result, you are producing fruits—

An Example how the word of God instructs us—

Our problem—getting angry

Instructions of the word--

Eph 4:26  "Be angry, and do not sin":

Ps 4:4  Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still.

When you are angry, consider what the LORD’s will-

Ps. 4  For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You.

5  The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity.

6  You shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

Some thoughts from the word of God that should come to your mind --

Mt 18:15  "Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother.

Mt 5:24  "leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

Mt 18: 33  Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

Lu 17:4  And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

1Co 6:7  Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?

1Co 6:8  Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.

1Co 8:12  But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

Col 3:13  Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

1Th 4:6  That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

Le 19:17  Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart:

Ro 12:21  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

CONSIDER THOSE VSS. TO ACT WHEN YOU ARE ANGRY—but see that you produce fruits of the spirit—EVEN WHEN YOU ARE ANGRY—WELL, THIS IS NOT EASY—BUT THE LORD WILL HELP WHEN YOU PRAY AND ASK OF HIM, Jas 1:5  If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

-Gal 5: 22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,---23  Meekness, temperance

SO EVEN WHEN YOU ARE ANGRY, THE ABOVE FRUITS ARE TO BE PRODUCED—IF YOU HAVE TO EXPRESS THAT YOU ARE AGAINST THE ACT OF THE OTHER PERSON –you are to GENTLY, in MEEKNESS, WITH PATIENCE express his fault, so that YOU CONTINUE TO LOVE the brother, and that brother WOULD CONTINUE TO LOVE YOU! –peace should continue!

WE SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT THE LORD IS FIRST PURIFYING THE MINISTRY—MAL 3: 3, THEY SHOULD KNOW TO WORSHIP HIM AND SERVE HIM IN Righteousness, MAL 3: 18.

THE MINISTRY OF SPIRITUAL ISRAEL , Ro 9: 4,6, should KNOW THEIR ONE GOD, JESUS CHRIST AS THEIR SAVIOUR AND REDEEMER. They do not know His Righteousness, how to serve Him and worship Him in spirit and in truth!

They should understand that when they are saved, Ro 11: 26, through His mercy and grace, through BAPTIZM UNTO HIS DEATH, RO 6: 3-7, THEY SHOULD KNOW TO KEEP HIS LAWS TO DO THEM,

 Eze 43:11  "And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the design of the temple and its arrangement, its exits and its entrances, its entire design and all its ordinances, all its forms and all its laws. Write it down in their sight, so that they may keep its whole design and all its ordinances, and perform them.

The ministry should know His laws to serve Him in the SANCTUARY.

And therefore the LORD would write the laws in their minds-- Heb 8:10, Heb 10:16  "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,"

The LORD made Himself a sacrifice, BY ONE OFFERING, Heb 10: 14, He will put His laws in their minds, vs. 16, He will not remember their sins anymore, vs. 17, THERE IS NO LONGER AN OFFERING FOR SINS, VS. 18, the purified people could ENTER THE HOLIEST BY A NEW AND A LIVING WAY, vs. 19, 20,

THE LORD IS THE HIGHT PRIEST, VS. 21,

In faith we believe that we are purified, vs. 22,

THE LORD IS FAITHFUL TO GIVE THE PROMISES, VS. 23,

LET US consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

25  not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

26  For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, (that is if we do not mind about our sins after we know the truths of JESUS CHRIST!)

27  but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

THE  LORD IS VERY SERIOUS IN WHAT HE SAYS—

THIS IS THE WORK OF THE GOD OF THE WHOLE EARTH!

Continuing--

Heb 10: 30  For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people."

31--It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Vs. 32-39 are admonishes TO the first fruits gentiles, Isa 14: 30, and admonishing to Israel too after they get baptised unto His death, HOW THE LORD REQUIRES ALL HIS PURIFIED PEOPLE TO LIVE producing LOVE AMONG ONE ANOTHER!

Through obedience to the laws of JESUS CHRIST we learn to love one another in a godly way. They would crucify lusts, Gal 5: 24,

And choose to produce fruits of the spirit, gal 5: 22-23, AND SO BE FOUND RIGHTEOUS TO SERVE JESUS CHRIST , MAL 3: 18,

That MEANS THEY ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT HAD SANCTIFIED THE PEOPLE OF GOD.

AFTER YOU ARE FORGIVEN AND IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE HOLY SPIRIT, YOU ARE DISHONOURING THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND YOU WOULD BE PUNISHED, HEB 10: 28-29

Heb 12:25  See that ye refuse not Him that speaketh.

Heb 9:20  Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

Mt 12:31  Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

HOLY SPIRIT IS NOW POURED UPON ALL FLESH, (when the word is sent to Israel, they too have got His spirit!, Hab 2:14  For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.---AND THE SEA WHICH WAS COVERED WITH SPIRITUAL WATER IS THE SPIRITUAL Israel -- La 2:13  How shall I console you? To what shall I liken you, O daughter of Jerusalem? What shall I compare with you, that I may comfort you, O virgin daughter of Zion? For your ruin is spread wide as the sea; Who can heal you?)

WHEN THE LORD MAKES THE SPIRITUAL Israel UNDERSTAND THESE THINGS, THEY TOO WOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT THEY RECEIVED THROUGH THE GENTILES.

WHEN YOU KEEP HIS LAWS OF LOVE, AND PRACICES THEM, SUCH LOVE WOULD BECOME A WAY OF LIFE AMONG GOD’S PEOPLE. THEN THE LAW CANNOT JUDGE YOU AS BREAKING THE LAW—THEREFORE YOU WOULD NOT BE UNDER THE LAW!

(not “under the law” ---does not mean “OVER THE LAW”—“over the law” means you can break the law and do what you want!

SO you are NOT UNDER THE LAW means YOU CANNOT BE CONDEMNED BY LAW AS you are a doer of the law!)

Rom 8: 1 -There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2        For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Therefore law of SPIRIT OF LIFE is walking in spirit,

Law of SIN AND DEATH is walking after flesh. 

Rom 6: 22--But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So after the LORD forgave us we are to walk in newness of life-Ro 6: 3-7

Rom 7: 6-we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

When we are new men, we have to produce fruit unto HOLINESS.

AND THE LORD WILL PURIFY Israel UNTO HOLINESS-through Ro 6: 3-7, 22.

Zec 14:20  In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’S house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

PAUL THAT HE MIGHT GAIN THOSE that are without law, in

1 Co 9: 21, MADE HIMSELF A SERVANT TO ALL, VS. 19-20,

he served UNDER LAW TO CHRIST—

1 Co 9: 21  To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

1Co 4:16  Therefore I urge you, imitate me.

1Co 11:1  Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.

Paul was an example to us ministers, to gentiles, Rom 15: 16—and the GENTILES TODAY SERVE THE Israel, Isa 14: 1,2, as they are first born, vs. 30, ---

TO GAIN Israel!

ISRAEL SHOULD SERVE THE LORD, THEY SHOULD SERVE HIM SPIRITUALLY—THEY SHOULD RETURN TO THEIR HUSBAND, JESUS CHRIST! THEY SHOULD BE MARRIED TO JESUS CHRIST, RE 19:7.

THEY SHOULD EAT THE HUSBAND’S FOOD!

Joh 6:48  "I am the bread of life.

Joh 6:51  "I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever;

There would be some who depart from faith, not eating food of the husband, 1 Tim 4: 1-3, thereby refusing husband!

LORD’s promises are precious, 2Pe 1:4, to those who are obedient to Him,

Isa 1:19 -- If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;

1Pe 1:14  as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your ignorance;

TO BE OBEDIENT, there should be LAWS, INSTRUCTIONS etc.

And we find them in the word of God.

To be under law to Christ, ONE SHOULD BELIEVE in HIM. If you believe Him, you would do what He says to be obedient to Him.

Then you would produce fruits of the KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST, 2 Pet 1: 4-9, through PRODUCING FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT, Gal 5: 22-23 to ESCAPE CORRUPTION through LUST,(the works of the lust of the flesh are mentioned in Gal 5: 19-21, and WE ARE TO ESCAPE FROM THOSE).

WHEN YOU THUS ESCAPE, YOU COULD MAKE YOUR ELECTION SURE-

2 Pet 1: 10  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

11  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

WITHOUT REVEALING, THE LORD WOULD DO NOTHING—

Am 3:7  Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto His servants the prophets.

THE LORD HAD SHOWN--

In these pages THE LORD HAD shown how ONE COULD BE LED BY THE SPIRIT TO escape corruption and then FOUND NOT BE UNDER LAW, that means the HOLY SPIRIT had taught GAL 5: 24,25, 18,

24 - And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25-  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

18 - But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

JESUS CHRIST BORE OUR SINS ON THE CROSS, AND WE ARE FORGIVEN. AND HE SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT TO TEACH ALL THINGS CONCERNING HIM SPIRITUALLY-

1Co 2:13  These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

AFTER HE PURIFIED, HE GAVE LAWS SO THAT HIS PEOPLE WOULD LEARN TO “SIN NO MORE” –AND THUS BE ABLE TO DISCERN HOW TO SERVE HIM IN Righteousness, MAL 3:3,18.

SO WHEN PEOPLE LEARN TO PRACTICE HIS LAWS, THEY WOULD NOT REQUIRE TO BE UNDER LAW—GAL 5: 18

Ro 10:4  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

2Pe 1:3  According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

REMEMBER WE ARE TO BE OBEDIENT TO HIM,

Rom 1: 5- By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for His name:

WE OUGHT TO EXAMINE HOW THE LORD PERFORMED SPIRITUALLY --

THE LORD SOWED THE SEED (in other words, He gave His Holy Spirit, {as words are spirit to quicken, Jn 6: 63}, AND THOSE WHO BELIEVE WOULD WORK WITH THE SEED, which is the word of God, Lu 8:11- The seed is the word of God.

NOW THE SEED, the word of God, IS TAUGHT TO THE CHILDREN WHOM THE LORD CALLED, JN 6: 44,45—

BUT WE SEE THAT THE CALLED OUT Israel DO NOT BELIEVE HIM TO DO WHAT HE SAYS,---Jer 2:8  The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew Me not: the pastors also transgressed against Me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

Jer 5:31  The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and My people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

Therefore the parables of the Kingdom of God had not been understood by them-

Lu 8:10  And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

—THEN, those who did not believe , DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE MYSTERIES OF KINGDOM-THE MYSTERIES OF Kingdom of God WOULD BE KNOWN BY GENTILES, ACTS 28: 28--Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.—Rom 11: 5, 20—gentiles stand by faith through grace.

AND THE GOOD SEED ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD—

Mt 13:38  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

(Read the parable of sower and how tares could come up among the seed, children of God, )

Ro 9:8 - the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

(right now it is the gentiles as they are born of Spirit now, Isa 14: 30—that is why they understand spiritual things!—Israel is still in captivity, Ez 39: 23-24, BUT THE LORD IS BRINGING THEM BACK FROM CAPTIVITY NOW, VS. 25)

Israel should understand from the lessons gentiles are learning!

Even among gentiles tares could come up, they have to beware!

Ro 4:13  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

THE PROMISE OF INHERITANCE WAS THUS RECEIVED BY GENTILES, THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. Therefore the LORD works through them, Re 11: 2-4, Eze. 47: 22.

THOSE OF FAITH HAVE TO WORK-- Jas 2:18, 20, 26

Those who stand by faith have to fight to get rid of lusts, WITH THE HELP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT—

ONE HAS TO UNDERSTAND THE DIVINE NATURE –HIS HOLINESS, PERFECTNESS--

2Pe 1:3  According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Ac 17:29  "Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising.—vs. 30 calls all to repentance!

It is His goodness to lead us to repentance- Ro 2:4

THE OFFSPRING OF GOD SHOULD UNDERSTAND THE HOLINESS OF JESUS CHRIST AND REPENT!

• HE MADE HIMSELF THE PERFECT SACRIFICE FOR our sins .
• THEN---HE POURED HIS GRACE TO GIVE KNOWLEDGE TO ESCAPE FROM THE LUSTS OF THE FLESH, 2 PET 1: 2-4.
• HE IS FAITHFUL TO HIS PROMISE, 1Th 5:24  He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.- Heb 10:23-He who promised is faithful.
• AND WE ARE TO BE OBEDIENT TO HIS LAW OF LOVE-Ro 13:8-he who loves another has fulfilled the law.- 10  Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.- Ga 5:14  For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."-Jas 2:8  If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well;

IF WE ARE NOT OBEDIENT TO HIM, WE ARE DISGRACING HIS HOLY SPIRIT, AND ARE PUNISHABLE, HEB 10: 26-29

JESUS CHRIST IS WITHOUT SIN, WE CANNOT SIN IF WE ARE TO BE WITH HIM-

• 1Jo 3:5  And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.—
• 2Co 5:21  For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Then we have to separate from sinful deeds—

The LORD gave understanding how we could sin against neighbor—

(NOTICE THAT ALL MENTIONED IN THE FOLLOWING VSS. ARE SINS AGAINST NEIGHBOR/ BRETHREN.

Gal 5: 19-21--19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Eph 5:3  But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness,

Col 3:5  Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

MINISTRY OF Israel-when they sinned in Ez 16: 15, committing spiritual harlotry, grew into a great harlot—with wickedness, Le 19: 29

Re 17:4  The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.

5  And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Re 19:2  "For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her."

Physical or spiritual fornication and the sins associated with it were seen in PCG--

Murderous anger to disfellowship—to separate families—hatredness—uncleanness—idolatory—disagreements (variance)—wrath—strife—drunkenness—revellings and the like are associated with such sinners---

THE LORD’S PEOPLE CANNOT BE LIKE THAT—THEY SHOULD LIVE PEACEABLY WITH ONE ANOTHER—THE LORD DOES NOT WANT ANYONE TO SHED TEARS, OR BE UNHAPPY IN HIS KINGDOM, WE SHOULD LEARN OF HIS WAYS THAT BRINGS PEACE, THE LORD OF LORDS IS PRINCE OF PEACE, Isa 9: 6.

THAT IS WHY THE LORD GAVE COMMANDMENTS OF LOVE, IF YOU WORK ACCORDING TO THE WAY HE HAD INSTRUCTED, AND BE CORRECTED BY HIS COUNSELS,

YOU CAN MAKE SURE OF YOUR ELECTION TO THE Kingdom of God.

2 Pet 1: 10  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

11  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

THEREFORE, WE SHOULD LEARN TO SEPARATE SINFUL WAYS TO CRUSH THEM THROUGH THE CROSS,

GAL 5: 24  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

THEN WE OUGHT TO IDENTIFY—OR----DISCERN OUR ACTS—

ARE THEY LUSTS----OR---ARE THEY FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT?—

Heb 5:14  But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

THE LORD GIVES SOLID FOOD TO THOSE WHO ARE MATURE—IF YOU CAN EXERCIES TO DISCERN GOOD AND EVIL!

• You should discard the evil, to KEEP THE GOOD! You should reject the lusts of the flesh,

• And work WITH THE SPIRIT to produce fruits of the SPIRIT.

Gal 5: 22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

SO IF YOU CONTINUE IN SIN –YOU WOULD NOT INHERIT Kingdom of God-

IF YOU PRODUCE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT—against such there is NO LAW—

Then, we should exercise to produce good fruits!

THUS WHEN WE HAD FOLLOWED HIS WORDS TO ERADICATE SINS FROM OUR LIVES,

HIS HOLY SPIRIT HAD LED US!

THAT MEANS JESUS CHRIST HAD MADE HIS  PEOPLE RIGHTEOUS, UNDER HIS LAW —AND HIS PEOPLE HAD BECOME LAWFUL, (just as Paul was, 1Co 10:23 ), SO THE LAW HAS NO POWER TO CONDEMN THEM ANYMORE—Rom 8: 1

THEY HAVE remained  HOLY, RIGHTEOUS, PERFECT AS HE IS, after He made them perfect in Ro 6: 3-7, to serve Him, vss 19,22—then the ministry is silver and gold, Mal 3: 3!

• 1Jo 1:7  if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
• 1Jo 3:7  Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.

(we should not be saying “our Righteousness is like filthy rags, but EXERCISE GOOD THINGS TOWARDS BRETHREN)

Isa 64:6  But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.

IF YOU REMAIN IN YOUR INIQUITIES, YOU ARE UNCLEAN AND your Righteousness IS LIKE FILTHY RAGS—then we fade away as a leaf!

Are we to FADE AWAY as a leaf?

Ask yourselves?

Then we should NOT BE SAYING that “our Righteousness is as filthy rags!”

JESUS CHRIST REQUIRES FROM US to cleanse FROM FILTHY RAGS?

HE IS RIGHTEOUS—AND HE WANTS US TO BECOME RIGHTEOUS—WE HAVE TO WORK FOR IT!

HE GAVE HIS PRECIOUS THINGS TO MAKE US RIGHTEOUS—

DO NOT DISCARD HIS PRECIOUS THINGS—TAKE THEM AND EAT THEM TO BECOME PERFECT AS HE IS!

Ps 18:30  As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

Mt 5:48  Be ye therefore perfect,

Jas 1: 3  Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

4  But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect--

5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

6  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.

PRAY TO JESUS CHRIST AND ASK FOR WISDOM—

• 1Co 1:30  But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness--- 1Co 2:5  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
• 1 CO 2: 13--  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.--

ONE HAS TO UNDERSTAND SPIRITUALLY -- 15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

So WHEN YOU PRACTICE RIGHTEOUSNESS you are RIGHTEOUS!

AS THE FAST OF THE TENTH IS APPROACHING LET US REMEMBER Zec 8: 19-(It is on the 27^th Dec 2010)

Zec 8: 19-Thus saith the LORD of hosts; The fast of the fourth month, and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful feasts; therefore love the truth and peace.

When the LORD says JOY and GLADNESS—LOVE TRUTH AND PEACE, we should obey, come to repentance of any thoughts that had been against the teachings of JESUS CHRIST.

We should examine where we had done wrong, whether Israel or gentile,----- we all sin without knowing the scriptures!

SO WE SHOULD HAVE A FAST THAT WOULD BRING JOY AND GLADNESS!

ALL PRAISE TO JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD AND OUR SAVIOUR. Amen.
