December 7, God’s House and New Jerusalem

December 7 is a date etched indelibly into the memories of many Americans. On that day in 1941, the Pacific Fleet of the U.S. Navy was smashed to smithereens in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. America’s response was furious and hard-hitting; its entrance into both theaters of World War ii marked a turning point of the war.
But December 7 marks another, exceedingly more important anniversary for God’s people. On that day in 1989, Satan the devil launched a violent, history-altering spiritual attack on God’s Church. On Dec. 7, 1989, John Amos and I were fired and disfellowshiped from the Worldwide Church of God, and the work of the Philadelphia Church of God essentially began.
This December, the pcg celebrates its 31st anniversary of this event. Do we realize how much God has blessed and magnified His Work? We cannot afford to forget the miracles surrounding the beginning of this work. God has achieved spectacular accomplishments over these three decades, and He wants to achieve many more.
Revelation 3:12 says, “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.”
Why the Laodiceans Fell Prey to Satan
“And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?” (Zechariah 3:1-2).
These verses are talking about an evil Joshua, who represents the entire Laodicean, or lukewarm, era of God’s Church. (This is fully explained in my book Malachi’s Message.) The whole era has been taken captive by Satan—that includes 95 percent of God’s own people. Most of them are going into the Tribulation, where 50 percent of them will repent and be plucked out of the fire. The other 50 percent will die forever in the lake of fire.
What caused this Laodicean era to be taken captive by the devil? How did this wholesale falling away happen? There is an important element to this verse, which I hadn’t thought too much about, that answers these questions. In verse 2 God says, the Eternal has chosen Jerusalem. What does that mean? Why would God talk about the vision of new Jerusalem in the context of this lawless end-time type of Joshua who is in bondage to Satan?
This astonishing scripture reveals why this evil Joshua and the Laodiceans became captives of Satan, and how we can avoid falling into the same trap.
The Eternal has chosen Jerusalem: God is showing us that the Laodiceans got into serious trouble because they stopped focusing on New Jerusalem. They quit thinking like God. God’s mind is continually set on new Jerusalem: His entire plan is built around new Jerusalem. But Joshua and his followers allowed their minds to stray from God’s vision of New Jerusalem. That led to what is probably the worst disaster ever in God’s Church.
Zec. 3: Verse 8 says, “Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.” Notice, God says He is going to bring forth the Branch, Jesus Christ. God the Father is directly and intimately involved in these events. He brings forth His Son. But what happens just before Christ, the Branch, returns? Joshua’s fellows are looking to Joshua rather than the Father and Son; they have lost the God Family vision. The expression men wondered at would better read men of sign. They are a sign the Messiah is about to return! The bad news is still good news—a sign of the most wonderful news we could hear.
Christ is about to change and beautify Jerusalem as this world has never seen it. It will become the capital city of the world. Then after the Millennium and the Last Great Day, a still greater change is coming. God the Father and new Jerusalem are coming to this Earth!
“For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day” (verse 9). The Stone is a symbol of Christ, and the seven eyes are the seven Church eras, over which Christ is the Head. God gives His Church sight. He gives His people the ability to understand world events and to comprehend spiritual knowledge. The Laodiceans have lost this ability because they have gotten away from the Stone and the vision of new Jerusalem given to them by God the Father. They are now blind.

Receive SALVATION (working out your own Salvation, Php 2; 12) , then you become a HEIR of GOD through CHRIST-- Ga 4:7 -Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ

CHRIST descended from Abraham -- Mt. 1; 17-- all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
CHRIST made disciples for NEW COVENANT through PASSOVER, Mt. 26; 26-28
· And DISCIPLES of CHRIST kept CHARGE of ALMIGHTY and taught them to next generation, and in turn, they taught to churches-- --Ac 16:4 And as they (PAUL and Timotheus, vv 1-3, PAUL learnt from CHRIST too, 2 Co 12; 2) went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees for to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.
5 -And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
Disciples kept SERVICE of God and taught them to next generation, to PAUL and others including Timothy, thus decrees to keep were ordained by apostles and elders at JERUSALEM and thus CHURCHES established, Acts. 16; 1-5.
Now we learn from PAUL and Disciples of Christ!
· PAUL is teacher of gentiles, 2 Tim 1; 11, CHRIST teaches gentiles, Heb. 1; 2, Isa 17; 7 (for PCG altar could not teach us, for we do not believe ALTAR of PCG, its groves (PCG books) and IMAGES, Isa 17; 8)
· Then we gentiles become a posterity, Ps 22; 30-31
Ps 22: 30--A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. (this is SEED of gentiles of ships of Tarshish who were given EAST WIND, to work in ZION , Ps 48; 7-14) Ps 22 reveals SUFFERING OF CHRIST on HIS CROSS, thereafter it is gentiles who serve HIM ON DAY OF LORD, Eze. 30; 3—and ships of Tarshish would bring children of ISRAEL from FAR, Isa 60; 9, even other gentiles teach PRAISES of ALMIGHTY, Isa 60; 6, 7.
· They PUBLISH RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST—Ps 22: 31
31 -They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this---WELL, WE HAD DONE just as HIS WORDS PROPHESIED! For TESTIMONY of JESUS CHRIST is SPIRIT of PROPHECY, Rev. 19; 10
· Therefore PCG should marvel how WORD OF GOD continues, TEACHING HIS CHARGE, we gentiles had taught of HIS CHARGE IN HIS SERVICE!
Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, they served LORD of Sabaoth in SHORT WORK upon EARTH, keeping SABBATHS –

Ships of Tarshish broken, Ps 48: 7-14, as the remnant of SABBATH keepers, Rom. 9; 28, 29, KEEP HIS SERVICE according to WORD OF LORD OF HOSTS
· They keep His service as Nu. 28 and 29
· They keep as David, 1 Ch 23; 30-32
· The serve as Zadok’s sons, as written in Eze. 44.
· They kept FASTS of the LORD according to Zec. 8; 19

In OLD COVENANT they were instructed to be prosperous in the LORD by KEEPING HIS CHARGE. Joshua 5; 8 --ISRAEL to keep His Laws and Manna was given to them to keep every word of LORD, Deut 8:3
· Joshua said “God is giving you rest in this land”, Jos 1:12 ; but they would prosper “only if they OBSERVE to do all that is written in Law”, Jos.1:7,8 read in No. 1067

After CHRIST teaches we are to keep HIS CHARGE according to SUBSTANCE OF CHRIST –Col 2; 13-23 tells us NOT TO SERVE AS men TEACHES, for OLD COVENANT service is TO BE KEPT with SUBSTANCE OF CHRIST, according to EVERY WORD OF HIS as CHRIST establishes NEW COVENANT!

· Do you think that PEOPLE IN GENERATIONS of EVERLASTING COVENANT, Isa 59; 21, would remember Gerald Flurry or H. W. Armstrong, to remember their disfellowshipments and deaths????
· Do we keep remembering AS ANNIVERSARIES of DATES of deaths of Abraham, Moses, David, or days when Abraham left UR? They are important days to them---–but NOT IN COVENANT OF GOD!!!
· We in COVENANT of GOD should do HIS CHARGE carefully, to preserve Covenant of ALMIGHTY!
· We should be careful to practice what CHRIST had taught written in HIS BOOK!
Col 2; 23 -Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
· Dec 7th and Jan 16th are supposed WILL WORSHIP!
· Such things are AGAINST CHARGE OF GOD ALMIGHTY
Such things become sorceries--
Isa 47:9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.---things against ALMIGHTY would NOT PERMIT CHILDREN FOR EVERLASTING COVENANT –LORD leaves church, then church as wife becomes A WIDOW ---all in church as widows!
Isa 47:12 Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.
· Such things would not profit---

We had passed on DECREES OF HIS CHARGE to next generation which is PCG as 1st fruits of EVERLASTING COVENANT, Eze. 16; 60-63!
PRAISE BE TO CHRIST OUR LORD who teaches us EVERYDAY, morning and night!
KEEP SABBATH SIGN, then HE WOULD REVEAL MARVELLOUS THINGS OF HIS EVERLASTING LIFE!
BURDENS not to be done ON SABBATH --- Isa 58;13-14—not to do your pleasure, nor speak your own words, on SABBATH ;--Jer. 17: 26-27—hallow SABBATH day, not do any work nor carry a burden out of your houses or bring them by gates of JERUSALEM.
FEAR OF GOD helps church to be a fruitful wife
Ps 128; 1--Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways.
2 -For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
3 -Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
4 -Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.
5-The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
6 -Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.
