ISRAEL FED WITH MILK BUT TEACHERS SHOULD EAT MEAT

Isa 60:16  Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

1Pe 2:2  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

SO spiritual Israel was fed with milk of gentiles to know that JESUS CHRIST is the Saviour, Redeemer, the mighty One of Israel.—He saves ISRAEL through BAPTISM UNTO HIS DEATH, RO 6: 3-7, and therefore the minister of gentiles, Paul, Ro 15: 16, determined to teach nothing but JESUS CHRIST and Him crucified, 1 Co 2: 2.

After the BAPTIZM UNTO HIS DEATH, YOU ARE TO DEPART FROM INIQUITY, 2 Tim 2: 19, LEARN TO BE LED BY THE SPIRIT, CRUCIFYING LUSTS DAILY, therefore eating those things of the LORD, discerning correctly is eating meat, to remain in faith of JESUS CHRIST.

1 Jn 3: 6  Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him.

7  Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

9  Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10  In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

11 - For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

FROM THOSE SPIRITUAL WORDS those who are born of God UNDERSTAND that we are not to sin, but do Righteousness loving brethren.

1Ti 3:16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles,----

REALISE WHY ISRAEL WAS FED WITH MILK ONLY—

ANYONE WHO IS NOT ABLE TO EAT MEAT WOULD BE FED WITH MILK--

1Co 3:2  I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Heb 5: 13: For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

And therefore---TO BECOME MATURE MEN, WE OUGHT TO EAT MEAT!

IF YOU ONLY TAKE MILK, YOU ARE UNSKILLFUL IN THE WORD OF Righteousness!---YOU ARE A BABE!

AND WE SHOULD SEE THAT we ought to eat meat WHEN WE ARE TO BE TEACHERS --

Heb 5:12  For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

Last vs. of Heb 5—vs.14  But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

HEB 6: 1 -Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection;

SO WE ARE TO GO UNTO PERFECTION BY DISCERNING GOOD AND EVIL—THEN WE ARE EATING MEAT SENT FROM JESUS CHRIST!

Mt 5:48  Be ye therefore perfect,

GENTILES BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AND BECAME NEW CREATURES--

2Co 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Eph 4:24  And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

We are to put on the new man, created in Righteousness –that is when the LORD made you righteous forgiving sins, through His perfect sacrifice, through HIS GRACE—

WE ARE TO continue IN THAT Righteousness and true holiness!

Ro 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind

Worldly lusts have to be given up—

And what are they?

Read in Col 3: 1-10.

COL 3: 1-10

1 -  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2  Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3  For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory.

5 -  Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

6  For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

7  In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

8 - But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

9  Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

10  And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

ACCORDING TO HEB 5: 14—ONE SHOULD DISCERN THE GOOD FROM EVIL—AND UNDERSTAND THAT lusts of the flesh mentioned in COL 3: 5, 8-9 above, and Gal 5: 19-21, HAVE TO BE MORTIFIED (crushed, put down)

Otherwise Col 3: vs. 6 happens—you would be found disobedient and God’s wrath would come!

Vs. 9, 10 SHOWS YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO PUT OFF THE OLD MAN IN YOU—AND PUT ON THE NEW MAN!

One has to identify the deeds of the old man (sinful man before the LORD forgave through His grace, when one gets BAPTIZED UNTO HIS DEATH, Ro 6: 3-7)

And EACH ONE is expected to do AS A NEW MAN!

10  And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him:

THIS IS WHY THE LORD IS GIVING MUCH KNOWLEDGE!

YOU ARE TO BE RENEWED IN KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST –

AND BEAR THE FRUITS OF KNOWLEDGE—

2 Pet 1: 2  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

THROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF HIM, WHAT WERE GIVEN?

VS. 3--According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

THE LORD HAD GIVEN knowledge of ALL THINGS pertain UNTO LIFE AND GODLINESS—

WHY WAS THAT KNOWLEDGE GIVEN?

2 pet 1: 4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

NEW MEN HAVE TO LEARN TO PARTAKE THE DIVINE NATURE, THROUGH THE GIVEN KNOWLEDGE TO ESCAPE THE CORRUPTION through LUSTS!

New men have to put on the knowledge and become fruitful in knowledge—

2 Pet 1: 5-   And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

SO IF YOU HAVE PUT ON—faith---virtue—knowledge—temperance—patience—godliness—brotherly kindness—charity—THEN YOU ARE FRUITFUL IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST.

THESE ARE ALSO THE GOOD mentioned in Gal 5: 22-23—and the LUSTS, the EVIL are mentioned in Gal 5: 19-21.

Gal 5: 21 says if you do those EVIL THINGS you would NOT INHERIT THE Kingdom of God.

AND IF YOU KEEP THE GOOD IN GAL 5: 23, THEN YOU ARE NOT UNDER LAW SAYS THAT VS. that means you have trained yourself and become MATURE, and YOU KNOW TO EAT MEAT which is said in Heb 5: 14.

SO THE LORD’S WILL IS THAT WE EAT THE MEAT SENT THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST TO BECOME TEACHERS.

THEN THE LORD WOULD HAVE MADE A MINISTRY TO SERVE HIM IN Righteousness, MAL 3: 18—after all the LORD during the LORD’s day purifies the ministry, Mal 3: 3, TO MAKE THEM GOLD AND SILVER.

Ga 6:15  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
