CHRIST’S baptizm GRANTS HOLY SPIRIT

John the Baptist said--Mr 1:8 -I indeed have baptized you with water: but He shall baptize you with the HOLY SPIRIT

Ac 1:5-For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the HOLY SPIRIT  not many days hence.

Through baptizm unto John, WCG, PCG,  entered a COVENANT with DEATH, but CHRIST does a short work to ANNUL that Covenant,—through judgments and overflowing scourge, Isa 28: 14-19, CHRIST is FOUNDATION STONE, vs. 16.

·        LAW leads you to death, FAITH IN CHRIST leads you to ETERNAL LIFE

·        Therefore baptizm to John is NOT FOR KINGDOM OF GOD!

John Himself taught—that SON OF GOD would baptize with HOLY SPIRIT –Jn. 1; 33, 34--

Jn.  1; 33--And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

What then is the TRUTH??

·         TRUTH -Gal.3; 1-- O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

·         Therefore HIS BAPTIZM granting HOLY SPIRIT is BAPTIZM UNTO HIS DEATH!

·         Baptizm unto CRUCIFIED CHRIST, to be forgiven of sins, Rom. 6; 6, 7, as GOD cannot see INIQUITY, Hab. 1; 13!

·         When Rom.  6 baptizm is honoured you receive ETERNAL LIFE, vs. 22, 23.

When H. W. Armstrong erred LORD gave PRECEPTS to him to FALL BACKWARDS, Isa 28: 13, while LORD  gave us (gentiles)  PRECEPTS to be built on Him, that was the REFRESHING, Isa 28: 10-12. ISRAEL made a COVENANT with DEATH, Isa 28:15, and LORD would not allow them to do so, Isa 28: 15-19.

·        Therefore HIS OVERFLOWING SCOURGE is sent from Far country, to them, Covenant with DEATH would be destroyed, Isa 28: 16—19, CHRIST is SURE FOUNDATION OF ZION , Isa 28: 16---HE WOULD BLESS PCG to RETURN TO ZION , to be established in EVERLASTING COVENANT, Eze. 16; 60-63.

·        Now they cannot sing songs of ZION, as PCG is in Babylon, Ps 137:1 -By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.

Zec 2:7-Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

CHRIST made known Himself, Isa  49: 1, to the Far people who were prophesied to receive HOLY SPIRIT when baptized unto CHRIST, as it was promised to ISRAEL and those of FAR Acts.2; 38, 39. Far people were prophesied to serve in building the temple if they serve diligently, Zec. 6: 15!

Ac 2:38 -Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT.-----------39 -For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Promise is to ISRAEL and those of FAR, Acts. 2: 38, 39, far means isles of gentiles, Isa 49: 1, Isa 33: 13, 17, Ps.72: 10, Isa 42: 4, Isa 43: 3,Isa 66: 6-9) –read in Nos. 958,1016 in www.restoringcaptivity.com

The FAR people of isles knows that CHRIST knew HIS NAME (works done by Him)  from the time HE WAS IN MOTHER’S WOMB--Isa 49:1-Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

·       Prophecy of Isa 49: 1 fulfilled in Lu. 1; 30-31---Lu. 1: 30 -And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31-And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

Explanation of Isa 23; 15

Isa 23;15 One king as TYRE leads for 70 years, in the end they sing the song of harlot, that is H. W. Armstrong began preaching to nations on 1934, and PCG continuing work of H. W. Armstrong –and ends in 2004, becoming harlot, Eze. 16;15. PCG conference in ZION , on Jan 5^th 2005 recorded in Ps.  48: 1-6, SAYS they went away understanding that they cannot produce next generation, (THEY HAD LABOR PAINS then LORD broke ships of Tarshish to continue HIS SERVICE —Ps. 48: 6-- 6  Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.---7  Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.

·        PCG had not produced the next generation, it is us gentiles who would declare the next generation, Ps.  22; 30-31, bear children among ISRAEL , Eze. 47: 22

That is because PCG followed the same baptizm unto John to honour OLD COVENANT, not honoring baptizm unto CHRIST For SECOND COVENANT which is made during PCG times, Eze. 16: 60—they cannot produce children until they RECEIVE BAPTIZM unto HIS DEATH, Rom.  6

·        They entered LAW when KINGDOM OF GOD is preached through BLOOD OF NEW COVENANT, Mt. 26: 28 (they take PASSOVER with Blood of CHRIST, but entered OLD COVENANT!—AD 31 teachings through disciples is for NEW COVENANT!

·        Strangers are to be circumcised in their hearts, Eze. 44; 9—if not, they are UNCIRCUMCISED!

·        Circumcision of hearts is through baptizm unto CHRIST, Col 2: 11-13, By His blood.

We gentiles (strangers) were cleansed by HIS BLOOD to serve GOD OF ISRAEL, Eph. 2: 11-13, that is saved by GRACE, (saved by His sacrifice which He offers for everyone, Heb. 2;9, ), we were raised in heavenly places—Eph.  2; 5, 6. (That is to serve HIM IN HIS HEAVENLY THRONE, Ps.  89; 29.

Daniel prophesied of MAN OF SIN---Mt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)

Gerald Flurry wrote of CHRIST the LAMB (on 18/ 5/ 2013—Mt 24 transcript in Key of David) that JESUS CHRIST is “just qualified to open the seals; ----He did not open it there, SO THAT THE MEN WOULD UNDERSTAND”!!!!!!!- THAT MEANS PCG LEADER could not SEE, READ-or BELIEVE THAT- CHRIST, the Lamb opened seals of Revelations, Rev. 5; 9,  and started to PERFORM THEM as written in--Rev. 6: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 12—7: 17, 8: 1---and that CHRIST would establish HIS KINGDOM, Rev. 11: 15!

·         Could we see PCG is fighting with LAMB saying LAMB opened seals only, when LAMB wins leaders as a beast power fighting HIM, Rev. 17, as written in Ps.  49: 20!

To fulfill that work EVERLASTING GOD was born of a virgin as ‘HIS CHRIST ‘ as a SON OF GOD and SON OF MAN, so CHRIST was born as a descendant of David through Joseph of house of David, Mt 1:16-17 (GOD approved the marriage of Mary with Joseph, Mt 1:19-25, Mary too called Joseph as Father of Jesus, Lu 2:48,49. Mary said--Lu 2:48  And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.

49  And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father’s business?

Lu 2:48, 49 shows Joseph as natural Father and God as HIS Father who sent Him as HIS CHRIST)

Church was prophesied  to fall away as LEADERS are to be taught for EVERLASTING COVENANT With HIS ONE OFFERING, Heb. 10: 7-10, 14.---rich Laodiceans cannot understand, as they are full of lusts, John 8; 44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

·       PCG which made COVENANT Eze.16:8 would be established in EVERLASTING COVENANT forgiving them, Eze.  16:59-63 for they broke COVENANT, Eze. 44; 7 –fulfilling Isa 23:15

They became harlot, Isa 23:15, Eze. 16; 15—adulteresses shed blood, Eze. 23:45 such cannot keep Sabbath, LORD gave them BAD STATUTES Eze. 20: 24-25 –profaning Sanctuary, Eze.  24:21, and leaders the ministry, Isa 43: 28

SABBATHS and BEGINNINGS OF MONTHS to be kept FOREVER, Isa 66:23,24

We are to worship Him in SPIRIT and in Truth, Jn. 4 23, 24

The Truth is CRUCIFIED CHRIST, Gal 3:1 -- O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

TESTIMONY of GOD is JESUS CHRIST and HIM CRUCIFIED --1 Co 2:1  And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2  For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Therefore all Truths of crucified CHRIST which are given as blessings for the 2^nd COVENANT through the ministry of SPIRIT, 2 Co 3:6-18, 2 Co 4:1,2 are to be known through HOLY SPIRIT ---HOLY SPIRIT being words of life, Jn. 6:63

Jn. 6:63 -It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Ministry of SPIRIT is glorious than OLD COVENANT which is ministry of DEATH, 2 Co 3 6-9----THAT IS THE REASON why we are given HOLY SPIRIT, Acts. 2; 38, 39--To learn all things of Second Covenant through HOLY SPIRIT

2 Co 3:6 -Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.—Gentiles serve in ministry of SPIRIT which gives LIFE—LETTERS of old covenant KILLETH! –a ministry of death!

7  But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

8  How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?—ministry of SPIRIT is MORE GLORIOUS than OLD COVENANT!

9  For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. Old covenant is ministry of condemnation, ---MINISTRY OF SPIRIT is ministration OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, for His sceptre is of RIGHTEOUSNESS, Heb. 1; 8, 9.

MERCY is given through MINISTRY of SPIRIT

2 Co 4:1 -Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;--HIS MERCY is granting HOLY SPIRIT –therefore ministry of SPIRIT teaches of HIS SPIRIT!

2  But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

Ps. 136—HIS MERCY ENDURETH FOREVER—means HIS BOOK containing HIS SPIRIT is given forever to worship IN TRUTH in HIS EVERLASTING COVENANT!—THAT IS WE ARE TO UNDERSTAND HIS WORDS to do them, WHEN WORSHIPING HIM!---“CHRIST in us” through baptizm, Gal. 3; 26-29 would HELP US---just as HE HELPS US NOW!

Notice---HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS is required to serve in HIS COVENANT, and therefore HIS SPIRIT IS GIVEN as HIS MERCY—to learn of HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS through WORDS OF HIS.

That means all truths as His counsels are to be known through HIS WORDS (HIS HOLY SPIRIT ), then only we would be able to worship in HIS PERFECT COVENANT  THE  SECOND COVENANT which He WILLED because He did not want animal sacrifices and fleshly ordinances of the 1^st COVENANT –Heb. 10:7-14

 Heb. 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

8 -Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

9 -Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second.

10 -By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.—the WILL of GOD, which is fulfilled by HIS CHRIST, Heb. 10: 7, needs SANCTIFICATION through OFFERING of BODY of JESUS CHRIST ONCE FOR ALL---ONCE FOR EACH ONE---thereafter NO SINNING---If you sin, you are DISGRACING THE SPIRIT OF HIS GRACE, and HIS BLOOD, worse PUNISHMENTS would be given, Heb. 10; 26-31

·       WE SEE—LORD takes a long time to establish SECOND COVENANT because HE NEEDS to give MUCH TEACHINGS of it, as everyone (ministry in Malachi Purification, Mal 3.1-5 and ministry in BOILING POT, Eze. 24; 1-14) should understand VERY WELL!

Heb. 10: 11 -And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:--OLD COVENANT sacrifices could NEVER TAKE AWAY SINS!

12  But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God; BUT CHRIST’S ONE SACRIFICE is EFECTIVE for everyone in EVERLASTING COVENANT!

13 -From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.—PRESENT DAY enemies the PCG ministry, NEVER UNDERSTANDING of Eze. 16;60-63, and the fact that they had BROKEN Covenant, Eze 44; 7, Eze.16; 59!

14 -For by one offering he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified---BY ONE OFFERING HE perfects those who SANCTIFY themselves through HIS BAPTIZM!

All what we require to worship in SECOND COVENANT (the ark, Rev. 11:19 seen in KINGDOM OF GOD, Rev. 11:15 had been made known in recent articles read in www.restoringcaptivity.com that is ---Gospel of KINGDOM OF GOD had been preached!

Ps. 132 shows how CHRIST rules present day HOUSE OF David---CHRIST descended from David through Joseph, (Lu 1:27  To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary). and thus became messenger of COVENANT to Revive David, Amos 9; 11.

Ps. 132 :1-A Song of degrees. LORD, remember David, and all his afflictions:--today CHRIST serves as BRANCH, Zec. 3, gentiles serve Him, Zec. 12: 8-10, even David prophesied of strangers serving him, 2 Sam 22: 44-45.

2 -How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;--3 -Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;4 -I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,--5 -Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob

·       Isa 62: 1-- For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.-------------2  And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

CHRIST came a second time to give SALVATION, Heb. 9; 28, and gentiles see HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS

Ruth 4: 21--Boaz begat Obed, 22- And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David—so David was born as descendant of Judah!

·         Thus Ruth became as Rachel and Leah to build the house of ISRAEL!

·         JESUS CHRIST was born to Judah, and it was prophesied by Jacob, Gen. 49: 1,2, of MESSIAH who would help ISRAEL, Gen. 49: 8-12,  (In latter days, the Church is redeemed by her HUSBAND, JESUS CHRIST, THE GOD OF WHOLE EARTH, Isa 54; 5).

·         MESSIAH became THE LAMB who made the SACRIFICE to cleanse ISRAEL tribes, Rev. 7; 14-17, as A VIRGIN, Rev. 14: 1-4, thus LAND OF ISRAEL became LIKE A VIRGIN, to be MARRIED TO MESSIAH, Isa 62; 4, 5.

·         LAMB marries and WIFE PREPARES FOR MARRIAGE, Rev. 19: 7, 8.

·         She is NEW JERUSALEM, Rev. 21: 1-3, OLD JERUSALEM which had abominations, Eze. 16: 2 –it is PCG, Eze. 16: 1-8, which became a harlot, vs. 15, then  JESUS CHRIST as a LAMB  REDEEMS PCG, and ESTABLISHES EVERLASTING COVENANT, Eze. 16: 60-63!

·         Thus NEW COVENANT would be made with houses of ISRAEL and Judah, Heb. 8: 8, Jer. 31; 31.

·        Because Boaz redeemed Ruth ---JESUS CHRIST was born to Judah!

·         Because JESUS CHRIST redeems CHURCH PCG as 1^st fruits amidst ISRAEL, HE MARRIES CHURCH!

11 -The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.—CHRIST thus came as BRANCH, Zec.3

12 -If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.—those in HIS COVENANT has to be PERFECT in HIS SERVICE!

13 -For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

22 -And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation:

11 -Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now everyone from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.—Repentance before THE CREATOR would BENEFIT ALL WHO ERR in their PRIDE!

Ps.  68; 29-Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee. Ps 72; 10-kings of Tarshish of isles, ----kings of Sheba –offer gifts, vs. 11—all nations shall fall down before Him—(they are captive nations, formed of Judah and ISRAEL, _{Isa 11; 9-12, Lam. 1: 3}) Jer. 33: 26-- David My servant--- his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob ---for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them---SO CAPTIVES (spiritually captives are captives to sin, _{Rom. 7: 21-25}) they would return becoming RIGHTEOUS to serve ALMIGHTY!

30 –Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver:

·         SILVER PIECES---“spiritual silver is seven times purified words of God, _{Ps.  12: 6}---SO CAPTIVES WOULD LEARN TO OFFER HIM SACRIFICES of Repentance, they CHANGE and offer thanksgiving FOR HIS MERCY AND GRACE!

Gentiles learned that GOSPEL OF GRACE Teaches to serve in Righteousness when CHRIST removes SIN from us, Rom.  6.

LORD gives us to serve as HE WILLS according to the SERVICE HE expects from us! (1 Co 12) In His short work, He had to MOLD leaders as THEIR POTTER, Rom.  9. They are PROVOKED TO Repentance by CHRIST OUR LORD

Pouring SPIRIT OF GRACE through HIS WORDS--

LORD pours SPIRIT OF GRACE and of SUPPLICATIONS to make them REPENT and BOW DOWN to HIM, mourning for HIM who DIED TO SAVE THEM, they know that HE IS THE FIRST BORN of ALMIGHTY---

Zec. 12: 10- And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

HOW DO THEY PIERCE HIM

·        Jn.  8: 37-- know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill Me, because My word hath no place in you.

Yes, PCG had not honoured Baptizm unto His death, Rom.  6, and the LORD says--“ye seek to kill Me, because My word hath no place in you”!!

They would produce GODLY SORROW

Zec. 12: 10--they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Mr. 16: 16--He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

H. W. Armstrong had not understood that CHRIST our LORD came MADE as SON of GOD, Heb. 7; 1-3

·        That is GOD THE CREATOR counseled HIMSELF to come as a man to MAKE HIS ONE OFFERING, for SECOND COVENANT, Heb. 10: 7-10, 14. 

Kings, rulers were against HIS CHRIST, Martha knew of HIS CHRIST, Jn.11: 19-27- I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

Peter knew of HIS CHRIST, Jn.6: 69, Andrew believed Him as HIS CHRIST, Jn.1; 41, woman of Samaria knew so, Jn.4; 25, 26

Preach the gospel to every creature.

Mt 4:23-- Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

·        We are to have FAITH to enter KINGDOM OF GOD, Rev. 11; 15, in the NEW ARK of TESTIMONY, Rev. 11; 19, through many witnesses of Cloud, those witnesses, Heb. 12; 1, 2,  are about HIS DEATH on CROSS, which is HIS GRACE shown to believers through HOLY SPIRIT!

"The gospel of Christ"

Ro 1:16-- For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

·        ALL FLESH would receive SALVATION through gospel of GRACE OF JESUS CHRIST through becoming SONS of GOD and sons of Abraham by PUTTING ON CHRIST through baptizm, Gal 3; 26-29

"The gospel of peace

·        Needed for GOVERNMENT of PEACE, Isa 9; 7, Eze 37;21-28

Eph 6:15-- 15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

·        CHRIST our LORD said to KEEP EVERY WORD to be saved from devil--

17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

·        The WORD OF GOD, HIS SPIRIT, the HOLY SPIRIT helps us to be SAVED from devil –to be saved from synagogue of Satan!

18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

·        Pray with HOLY SPIRIT, understanding HIS SPIRIT the WORDS OF HIS!

"The glorious gospel of CHRIST," enables to enter GLORIOUS CHURCH, Eph.  5; 27

2Co 4:4 -- the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

PAUL preached the GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF GOD

Which fulfills in CHRIST (Father and Son is ONE GOD, Isa 9; 6)

1Ti 1:11-- According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

12 ¶  And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;---PAUL was crucified with CHRIST, Gal.  2; 19-22

13  Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

·        PAUL was a sinner, DID PERSECUTE CHURCH ignorantly!

14  And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

GRACE OF JESUS CHRIST when PAUL was crucified with Him, as in Rom.  6; 6, 7, was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

·        PAUL received GRACE Of GOD, just as gentiles received, Eph.  2; 5, 6---AND GRACE was given to PAUL and to gentiles, Eph.  2;5, 6, to SERVE AND PREACH CHRIST our LORD!

PAUL ADMITTED THAT HE WAS A GREAT SINNER---1 Ti 1: 15  This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

16  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

·        PAUL obtained MERCY----which we SEE FROM THE WORDS PAUL wrote---PAUL wrote SPIRIT OF CHRIST –which is HIS WORDS, THE HOLY SPIRIT!

17  Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen.

·        So PAUL was able to HONOUR and GLORIFY THE ONLY King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God

"The gospel of salvation" (Read a glimpse of Plan of Salvation in No. 1170)

Eph 1:13--In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that HOLY SPIRIT of promise,

·        HOLY SPIRIT is given after baptizm Acts. 2; 38, 39.

·        It is the GUARANTEE until REDEMPTION of purchased CHURCH, vs. 14--

14--Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

·        Then GLOROIUS CHURCH would be seen, with those who RECEIVE SALVATION!

"The everlasting gospel,"

Re 14:6--And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

When EVERLASTING GOSPEL is preached

Babylon would FALL, PCG as Babylon would fall!

10  The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

Gentiles who trusted THE LAMB as CHRIST pouring HIS SACRIFICE received POWER from HOLY SPIRIT to preach the BLESSING of EVERLASTING GOSPEL, of EVERLASTING COVENANT, Eze. 16; 60-63, Heb. 13; 20-21.

Paul wrote how he received baptism of Ro 6:6-7, in Gal 2:19-21.

H. W. Armstrong did not teach that righteousness comes from Grace of God which is death of CHRIST, Heb. 2; 9,  given as one offering for Second Covenant.

Heb. 2;9-- He by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

·        Therefore we should RECEIVE HIS GRACE from HIS DEATH!

 If we died with Him—2 Tim 2:11-13, Co 1:16-27, it is buried unto His death—PAUL wrote --Ro 6:6, Gal 2:20

Gal.  2; 20-- I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

21  I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Rom.  6; 6—CRUCIFIED with HIM, vs. 7—forgiven!

·        So we receive FORGIVENESS from being as BURIED WITH HIM, to receive CIRCUMCISED HEARTS, Col 2; 11-13, and CRUCIFIED with HIM, Rom.  6; 6!

COULD ANY ONE receive forgiveness and Righteousness through BURYING IN WATER???

·        NO---we have to be BURIED IN WORDS OF BAPTIZM UNTO DEATH OF CHRIST to understand the VERY MANY BLESSINGS we receive from HIS BAPTIZM for the purpose of SECOND COVENANT –That is why we receive BLOOD OF NEW COVENANT at PASSOVER, Mt. 26; 28!

When HOLY SPIRIT is given through baptism to Jesus Christ, Ac 2:38, HOLY SPIRIT teaches to preserve your body to be righteous as He is.

·        Baptize mean immersion.

We are to be immersed or buried in teachings of Death and Resurrection and His Life to be Baptized.

John wrote of Jesus Christ’s baptism to receive HOLY SPIRIT.

HOLY SPIRIT is words, Jn.6; 63.

So we are to be buried in words of Jesus Christ as prophesied in Deut 8:3, and taught by JESUS CHRIST , Mt 4:4, Lk 4:4

Baptism is a BURIAL and a RISING FROM A GRAVE,

Notice Col 2:12. “Buried with him in baptism wherein also ye are risen with him from the dead. When one in plunged into the water he is in a watery grave. He would not live ten minutes unless brought up out of the water—unless RISEN from this watery grave. Therefore, a person immersed in water is in a literal grave.

 Then HWA quoted Ro 6:3-5

There is the beautiful symbolism—the real meaning of baptism.---the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

It pictures in symbol the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.

COMMENT—

H. W. Armstrong did not understand to be CRUCIFIED with HIM, Rom.6; 6!

·        It is the WORDS OF HIS as HOLY SPIRIT that teaches the TRUTHS of CRUCIFIED with CHRIST –

·        Blessings of His death and resurrection---forgives and justifies the sinner to be confirmed to the STANDARD of BRETHREN, Ro 8; 29, and SONS OF GOD, Gal.  3; 26-29, then only they could receive inheritance as SONS OF GOD and SONS OF Abraham, for Abraham INHERITS EARTH, Rom.  4; 13!

A watery grave

But it is a DUAL picture as all things in God”s Plan are Dual in operation.

 It also pictures the crucifixion of the old self (vs 6-7) or of the sinning life, the burial of this sinning self and the coming up out of this watery grave,symbolic of a CHANGED PERSON resurrected to a new, righteous, spiritual life in Christ Jesus .

Going down into the water pictures the death of Christ and of the old self

COMMENT –

A WATERY GRAVE cannot give blessings for EVERLASTING COVENANT, Isa 59; 21!

Water baptism is the ordinance ordained of  Christ by which we express our FAITH in Christ as Savior—our acceptance of His death, burial, and resurrection for us, and our repentance of the old life and burial of it, rising to new and higher life henceforth. It is a beautiful ordinance full of meaning

·        Did they bear fruits from OLD COVENANT through Lu. 16; 16 –law until prophets and John, then kingdom of God preached!

·        HAD THEY WALKED IN NEWNESS OF LIFE TO ENTER HOLIEST by flesh and blood, Heb. 10; 19-20, in kingdom of God?

Worshipping on SABBATHS and HOLY DAYS glorifies GOD OF ISRAEL for saving ISRAEL from Egypt, and for ISRAEL to know HIS ALMIGHTY POWERS over HIS WORLD,  all worshippers to understand that they SERVE GOD OF ISRAEL, the POSSESSOR OF HIS CHURCH, Deut.5:12-15, Ex 20: 1, 8-10-- Num 15.37, 41, 38-40-- Deut. 16:9-12, Nu 16: 9.

On DAY OF LORD, 2 Pe 3: 10,  He creates HIS TRUE Tabernacle, Heb. 8: 1, 2,  a GLORIOUS CHURCH, without SPOT, Eph.  5: 27,  a HEAVENLY CHURCH, Heb. 12: 22-25, ESTABLISHED by HIS BLOOD, Acts. 20: 28, for HIS VISION OF SECOND COVENANT, with HIS ONE OFFERING, Heb. 10: 7-10, 14. 

Mr 2:27 -And he said unto them, The Sabbath   was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath- 28  Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.
