RICE WROTE ON POLYGAMY A VITAL TOPIC TO EXAMINE SPIRITUALLY
PART
1--- AN ARTICLE FROM THE TRUMPET, WHICH SHOULD BE HIGHLY REGARDED
BY GOD’S PEOPLE.
PART
2--- MORE BIBLICAL KNOWLEDGE REGARDING MARRIAGE ARE
ADDED AS ADMONISHINGS FROM PAUL.
FIND OUT WHO HAD COMMITTED POLYGAMY---
Men
could have many women, and vice versa--
Tit 1:6 if a man is blameless, the
husband of one wife,---8- hospitable, a lover of what is good,
sober–minded, just, holy, self–controlled,---9 holding fast the faithful word as he has
been taught, --- 10 For there
are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of
the circumcision,---
Tit 1: 11----whose
mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching
things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. 16-They profess
that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and
disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
THAT IS
ABOUT MEN---
JESUS
CHRIST said “Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concern Me.", Lu 24:44;
accordingly, a Judgment in Lev.—is a Judgment of JESUS CHRIST--
Lev. 19: 29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to
cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land
become full of wickedness.
THAT IS
ABOUT WOMEN!
One
should understand the counsel of the LORD in the above Judgment of His—ONE
woman could cause a land to become full of wickedness!
In Lev. 19:
29---the land is destabilized—in Tit 1: 11—whole households (again so many
houses in the land) are destabilized!
When marriage
is against the Judgments of God, WHOLE HOUSEHOLDS OR LANDS
COULD BE DEVASTATED !
When the
man is blameless, he would possess godliness!---he would be faithful to the
words he had learnt! Otherwise he could be an idle talker!
Therefore—when
JESUS CHRIST is preparing New Jerusalem as His wife, Re 19: 7, Re 21: 1,2, we as God’s children, should know HIS
JUDGMENTS from the bible regarding marriage—MEN AND WOMEN SHOULD KNOW LORD’S
ETERNAL JUDGMENTS!
PART 1----
What
Does God Say About Polygamy?
May 28, 2012 | From theTrumpet.com
BY BRANDON NICE
Every once in a
while, our evening news onslaught of Middle East clashes and political
wrangling is interrupted by a strangely disconcerting tale of a polygamist
running the lives of dozens of wives and children. Warren Jeffs, for example,
held almost 150 women and children in a Texas ranch in polygamous
relationships. But polygamy can’t be shoved off into the religious offshoots of
Mormonism in the West anymore. Islam, the fastest growing religion on the
planet, promotes polygamy. Authorities are concerned that instead of
decreasing, polygamous marriages are on the rise. Some people use biblical
examples to justify the practice. Is this a problem? Is the government right to
ban polygamy? Is it really that harmful? Did God’s leaders really have plural
wives in the Old Testament?
Perhaps
shockingly, the answer to all of these questions is yes! Some of the greatest
known men in the Bible had multiple wives. Abraham and David both had multiple
wives. Does that mean God condones polygamy? Absolutely not! God never once
accepted and absolutely never commanded polygamy. In every case where polygamy
was involved, men were punished for their disobedience to God’s marriage laws.
In an
article titled “Here’s the Plain Truth About Old Testament Polygamy,” Herbert
W. Armstrong wrote, “There was polygamy in ancient Israel. But it was sin! God condemned it—He never condoned or sanctioned it” (Plain
Truth, October 1963).
If we
examine the fruits, as Christ commanded, we can see that not one of these
plural marriages worked out well. These were great men, but they did make
mistakes, mistakes that were recorded for “our admonition, upon whom the ends
of the world are come” (1 Corinthians 10:11).
Take
Abraham, for example. His wife could not bear a son, though God had promised
Abraham he would have one. Instead of simply continuing on and trusting God,
Abraham and Sarah reasoned that Hagar should bear a child for Abraham. Hagar
successfully conceived, yet this only brought more trouble into their lives. In
addition to the intense jealousy the situation provoked in Sarah, God did not
accept Ishmael (Hagar’s son) as the heir to the promises of Abraham. Later, God
ordered Abraham to send Hagar away. After the birth of Isaac, Abraham had no
more concubines—it wasn’t
until after Sarah’s death that Abraham took another wife.
Abraham’s
son Isaac had only one wife, Rebekah. Jacob was a bit more complicated,
marrying Leah and then Rachel due to his father-in-law’s scheming. After his
conversion in Genesis 32, however, Jacob ceased living in polygamy.
The most righteous king of Israel,
David, had more than one wife. This disobeyed the direct command from God for kings
not to multiply wives in Deuteronomy 17:17. David already had wives, and then
took another, Uriah the Hittite’s wife, as his own after having Uriah killed.
Because of this action, God said “the sword shall never depart from thine
house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the
Hittite to be thy wife” (2 Samuel 12:9-12). Mr. Armstrong wrote, “This was a
tremendous, super sin. God
was meting out tremendous superpunishment” (ibid.). Later, David’s wives were
defiled publicly except for Bathsheba. David was only saved from death because of his incredibly
repentant attitude.
David had to flee Jerusalem because of the civil
war that his actions had started. When he
returned, the first thing he did was put away all his other wives and
concubines.
After severe punishment from God, David had realized the error of his sins and
repented of them. He
remained married to only one woman for the rest of his rule.
Solomon
started out right, but by the end had 700 wives and 300 concubines. What did God say? “For it came to
pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other
gods: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of
David his father” (1 Kings 11:4).
There
are other accounts of men having more than one wife, but close examination
shows little happiness in these arrangements, and that God did not accept these
marriages.
The
misunderstanding about polygamy stems from a misunderstanding about the
marriage relationship. Christ said, in Matthew 19:4-6, that God ordained
marriage between man and wife (singular) “from the beginning.” God never
intended men to marry more than one wife. The first man said to have more than
one wife in the Bible was Lamech, a murderer and man of the most degenerate
kind of evil. “God
made one wife for
Adam—not a harem!” Mr. Armstrong wrote. “He started the human family out as He
ordained they should go—a
family of one man
and one wife! … God did not condone polygamy! He punished those who practiced it! It
was always sin! It is sin today!” (ibid.).
In the
New Testament, the Apostle Paul reinforced God’s disapproval of polygamy in 1 Timothy 3:2: “A bishop then must be blameless, the
husband of one wife.” One of the qualifications for a minister in God’s Church
is that he have only one wife. No polygamist may be a minister in God’s Church.
Revelation 19:7 speaks of Christ returning to marry His Church,
and His wife (singular) will be made ready. Christ will only marry the one
Bride, not many different ones! This is why sins like polygamy are so grievous
to God—because they demean the relationship He will have with His Church! The
special relationship between husband and wife is to reflect the wonderful
intimacy between Christ and His Bride, the Church. God condemned, and does to
this day, polygamy because of this. However, God has blessed the institution of
marriage between one husband and one wife as a God-plane relationship.
PART 2---
MORE BIBLICAL KNOWLEDGE REGARDING MARRIAGE ARE ADDED
AS ADMONISHINGS FROM PAUL.
FIND OUT WHO
HAD COMMITTED POLYGAMY---
ADMONISHING
FROM PAUL—ON MARRIAGE
Heb
13:4--The Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but
fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
Tit 1:6 -11 WERE
DISCUSSED IN THE BEGINNING OF THESE WRITINGS.
Tit 2: 1 - But speak
thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 That the aged men be sober,
grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.--3 The aged women likewise, that
they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to
much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be
sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,--5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home,
good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Why harlotry is bad-
Harlot is a deep pit-Pr 23:27-28
Pr 23: 27 For a harlot is a deep pit, And a seductress
is a narrow well.
28--She also lies in
wait as for a victim, And increases the unfaithful among men.
1Co 6: 16 Or do you
not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For
"the two," He says, "shall become one flesh."
17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one
spirit with Him.
18 Flee sexual
immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits
sexual immorality sins against his own body.
1Co
6:19 Or do you not know that your body
is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you
are not your own?-- 20 For you were
bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which
are God’s.---when joined to the LORD, we become
the temple of Holy Spirit, and we are not
our own, we are LORD’S! LORD’s servants should not sin against their own
bodies.
(JESUS CHRIST said
Psalms prophets, Moses concerns Him)
Moses wrote in Lev. 19:29 that wickedness would increase in the
land due to prostitutes, whores!
(married,
unmarried, divorced, widows , could fall into this category)
(-Le 19: 29--written at the beginning of these writings---)
What
are some of these wickedness?
Sinning against your own body—getting others to sin,--telling
many lies, false accusations, strife, contentions, violence, filthy language,
ungodliness, unholiness, back biting, unloving, unmerciful, unforgiving, jealousies,
taking revenge, all families connected to such people would suffer many
troubles! Peace disrupted in families!
Those
wickedness could be experienced with marriage problems!
Look at
the following scriptures where those are written--
Ro
1:31 undiscerning, untrustworthy,
unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;
2Ti
3:3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers,
without self–control, brutal, despisers of good,--- 9
but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest
to all, as theirs also was.
Therefore such wickedness is NOT AT
ALL PROFITABLE TO FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST!
The above kind of wickedness that are associated with
harlotry leads one to death-Ro 1;32.
ON THE OTHER HAND—IF ALL PEOPLE FOLLOW THE
JUDGMENTS OF JESUS CHRIST, PEACE WOULD PREVAIL! THEN, FAMILIES WOULD BE STRENGTHENED!
THEREFORE JESUS CHRIST NEEDS ALL TO FOLLOW HIS JUDGMENTS
WHEN HE CREATES ETERNAL COVENANT!
LAWS ON MARRIAGE
SHOULD BE LEARNT---(some are mentioned below)
God
hates divorce, Mal 2: 16
LORD had given principles of marriage (marriage relates to mystery of church,
Eph 5:32 , how the LORD loves the church---
{ ISRAEL church is spiritual Jerusalem, 1Ki 11:32 -- Jerusalem,
the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, ---Eze
13:16 -- the prophets of Israel who
prophesy concerning Jerusalem, Eze. 21:2
"Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, preach against the
holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel;---
Joe 3:16 The
LORD also will roar from Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; ---Eze.
16: 2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to
know her abominations,---3 And say, Thus
saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem;},
THUS
LORD GAVE A PROPHET TO END TIME CHURCH, Eze. 2: 5,33: 33, TO MAKE KNOWN THE
ABOMINATIONS OF CHURCH, TO CORRECT THE PEOPLE! LORD spoke through all prophets,
but they did not repent, Jer 44: 4,5!
JUST AS
A HUSBAND AND A WIFE OF A MARRIAGE OF GOOD STANDING, THE CHURCH SHOULD PREPARE
AS WIFE OF JESUS CHRIST!
People
are unable to make their marriages perfect, because they do not follow
LORD’s instructions! a marriage could be perfected through being doers
of the word!
It is
difficult to achieve a 100% perfection,
as believers have to grow in the word!
They
have to learn the word of God and exercise them!
LOVING---FORGIVING---MERCIFUL---UNDERSTANDING---CARING—SHARING---HUMBLING
attitudes are some that matters greatly in a marriage!
Instructions given for relationship of husband and wife, to
preserve peace—Chapters 1 Co 6 and 7 (preserve marriage)---Eph Ch.
3,4,5,6 and in many other places, {some Mt 19:8, Col 3:19 , 1Ti 3:11 , 1Pe 3:1}
, shows us HOW WE OUGHT TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER,
AND IN THE END TIME--
1 Co 7:
24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he
is called, therein abide with God.
TIME IS
SHORT---29 But this I say, brethren, the
time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though
they had none;
These
are the Judgments of JESUS CHRIST, what He taught through Paul!
JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF TAUGHT--
Mt 19:9 And I say unto you,
Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall
marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is
put away doth commit adultery.
Mr 10: 4-12
4 And they said,
Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.
5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart
he wrote you this precept.
6 But from the beginning of the creation God
made them male and female.
7 For this cause shall a man leave his father
and mother, and cleave to his wife;
8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then
they are no more twain, but one flesh.
9
What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
12 And if a woman shall put
away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
1Co 7:4 The wife hath not
power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not
power of his own body, but the wife.
1Co 7:10 -And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord,
Let not the wife depart from her husband:
1Co 7:11 But and if she depart, let her remain
unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away
his wife.
Ro 7:3 So then if,
while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an
adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she
is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
JESUS CHRIST WHO TAUGHT 1 CO 7:
11—TO BE RECONCILED TO HER HUSBAND---IS PRACTICING WHAT HE TAUGHT—
Ezekiel CH. 16 IS ABOUT PCG WROTE Gerald Flurry IN HIS
BOOKLET “Ezekiel”.
Eze. 16: 8-- I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant
with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest Mine.
Zec 11:10 -- that I
might break the covenant
which I had made with all the peoples.
Eze 24:21 Speak unto
the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane My sanctuary,
Eze. 16: 59 For thus
saith the Lord GOD; I will
even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking
the covenant. (PCG broke the covenant by
Eze. 44: 7 abomination)
PCG broke EVEN the Sabbath SIGN , Eze 20:12 , TO POLLUTE THEM—THROUGH Eze. 44: 7. (Eze 20:12 "Moreover I also gave them My
Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me,--- Eze 20:20 ‘hallow My
Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know
that I am the LORD your God.’).
IF ANYONE POLLUTES HIS Sabbaths---KNOW
THAT YOU HAD BROKEN THE SIGN BETWEEN you AND JESUS CHRIST! Sabbath IS A SPECIAL
THING THAT BELONGS TO GOD, WHICH HE HAD GIVEN TO THOSE WHO MAKE THE
COVENANT WITH HIM!
Ez 20: 21--they profaned My
Sabbaths. 23
"Also I raised My hand in an oath to those in the wilderness, that
I would scatter them among the Gentiles and disperse them throughout the countries,
THAT IS HOW PCG WAS DISPERSED IN NATIONS!
When the LORD speaks of captives of nations, it is about
PCG!
That is why they would be saved from captivity in pit, through
His blood, Zec 9: 11,
And the nations would be sprinkled of His blood--Isa 52:15 So shall He
sprinkle many nations.
PCG would be brought back from
captivity after pouring His spirit, from nations, Eze. 39: 28,29, to make the
covenant!
Ez 16: 60 -
Nevertheless I will remember My covenant with thee in the days of thy youth,
and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.
Eze. 16 : 62 And I will establish
My covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:
JESUS CHRIST thus entered marriage covenant with PCG, Eze. 16: 8, broke
it when they broke the covenant, Ez 44: 7, and remarries, Re 19: 7, after
granting her garments of Righteousness, Re 19: 8, making an everlasting
covenant with PCG, ------PCG to mother ISRAEL,
Eze. 16: 61!
THEREFORE WE SEE HOW JESUS CHRIST HONOURS HIS
JUDGMENT IN ---1Co 7:11 But and if she
depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband:
and let not the husband put away his wife.
JESUS CHRIST RECONCILES TO HER AFTER MAKING HER RIGHTEOUS THROUGH HIS OWN
SACRIFICE , RO 6: 3-7, 19,22!—MT 1: 21
IN
THE CASE OF BEING A WIDOW--
If a women’s husband dies she becomes a widow- who is a real widow?-
1 Tim 5:3-16 Explains-9
Let not a widow be taken into the number under threescore years old, having been the wife
of one man, 10----if she have diligently followed every good work.---11 But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax
wanton against Christ, they will marry;---12 Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.---13 And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to
house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things
which they ought not.
Biblical widow ---one who is over
60 years, wife of one man, who had done good works,
Those under 60 years are not counted as a widow for the above mentioned
reasons! Vss 11—13!
Gill’s
commentary explains vs. 11 above---“for when they have begun to wax wanton
against Christ”; that is, being at ease,
and without labour, live a wanton, loose, and licentious life, and in carnal
lusts and pleasures, contrary to the commands of Christ, and to the
reproach and dishonour of His name:
But she is not a widow indeed that
lives in pleasure , 1Ti 5:6,
1 Tim 5: 14 I will
therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give
none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
15 For some are
already turned aside after Satan.
PCG FAILED HER TEST OF HAROTRY, Ez 16: 15
LORD says-that His wife of Ez 16:8 increased harlotry, Ez 16: 22
And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered
the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy
blood.
Eze. 16: 3-14 says how PCG was at the
beginning, naked and polluted in her blood, and how the LORD entered into a
marriage covenant in her youth!
WHAT
HAPPENED TO PCG IS SAID IN THE FOLLOWING VERSES—BY THE LORD HIMSELF--
Eze. 16: 23 And it
came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord GOD;), 25 Thou hast built thy high place at every head
of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one
that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.
26 Thou hast also committed fornication with the
Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke Me to
anger.--28 Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians,
because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.
29 Thou hast moreover
multiplied thy
fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou
wast not satisfied herewith.
30 How weak is thine
heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish
woman;-- 32 But as a
wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers
instead of her husband!—(IN Eze. 44: 7 PCG INVITED STRANGERS
AND BROKE THE COVENANT!) –
Ez 16: 35 - Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word
of the LORD:
36 Thus saith the
Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered
through thy whoredoms
with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and
by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;-
-That is how LORD explains—many lovers—EVERY ONE THAT
PASSED BY—EGYPTIANS---ASSYRIANS---STRANGERS----THY LOVERS as a wife that
committeth adultery
IT IS MANY LOVERS!
IS IT NOT Spiritual polygamy?????????
THE LORD HIMSELF who made the covenant SAYS!
It is persistent unfaithfulness, which caused the famine, Ez
14:13-
SO THE LORD’S WIFE OF YOUTH COMMITTED spiritual POLYGAMY! That is why Lev. 19:29 happened-the
whole land was desolated!. PCG BECAME THE HARLOT OF RE 17: 5!
BUT JESUS CHRIST MAKES THE COVENANT OF YOUTH AGAIN AFTER
CORRECTING HIS WIFE!
ISRAEL fathers broke the covenant, Jer 31:32, PCG broke the
covenant of youth, Ez 16:59 but LORD corrects His wife and makes the covenant
again Ez 16:60-62 ,providing the atonement, vs 63, through His own sacrifice,
Ro 6:3-7. GIVING THEM , His Righteousness unto Holiness, Ro 6 19,22.
LORD judged PCG, Ez
16:40-42, recompensed their deeds on leader,
So that they do not commit this lewdness above all their
abominations, vs. 43,
Vs. 44-47, PCG was
worse,
vs. 49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom,
pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her
daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. (when the poor stood against Bamah matter, PCG did not
listen to their just cause to stop church from falling!)
50 And they were
haughty, and committed abomination before Me: therefore I took them away as I
saw good.—(so God took away the poor and needy from PCG),
LORD sent all ISRAEL of Ro 9:4,6(those who had the covenant
and right to serve God in God’s church) into captivity, and would bring them
back, Ez 16:53.—
Ezekiel 17 parable of eagle tells what happened to PCG leader--
Ez 17:12 --Say now to the rebellious
house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of
Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes
thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;
13 And hath taken of
the king’s seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him:
he hath also taken the mighty of the land:--14
That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but
that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.--15 But he rebelled against him in sending his
ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall
he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the
covenant, and be delivered?
Leader and his helpers (mighty)
rebelled as Pharaoh and his horses, they made a covenant on their own---one man
leader and his helpers thought of running the church as they want!
17: 16 As I live,
saith the Lord GOD, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him
king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the
midst of Babylon he shall die.
17 Neither shall
Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company make for him in the war, by
casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons:
Pharaoh was given over to
Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, Jer 25:9, Jer 27:8, Jer 28:14 ,
- Jer 29:1 Now these
are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem to
the remainder of the elders who were carried away captive––to the priests, the prophets,
and all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem
to Babylon.
leader dies spiritually, (becomes
Laodiceans), and were in captivity!
Eze. 17: 18 Seeing he
despised the oath by breaking the covenant, when, lo, he had given his hand,
and hath done all these things, he shall not escape.
19 Therefore thus
saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely Mine oath that he hath despised, and My
covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.—
LORD explains how church leaders
went to Babylon, by breaking LORD’s covenant making their own covenant – which
is transgressing against LORD!
Therefore JESUS CHRIST PUNISHED THEM
WITH HIS CUP OF WRATH, before HE GAVE HIS CUP OF CONSOALTION—
Read—

LORD GAVE HIS CUP OF WRATH FOR THEIR
LEWEDNESS--
Ez 16:58--Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine
abominations, saith the LORD.—
THE CUP CONTAINED—Ps. 11: 6-- Upon
the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest:
this shall be the portion of their cup.
LORD made them drink the cup of His wrath----with the fire of God, Jer 5:14,Jer 23,29 was sent to burn
their wickedness-Is 9:18-while gentiles ruled them, Is 3:4,12, when they were spiritually
in captivity in nations, Ez 12;15 and ISRAEL would be grafted to the vine
again and all saved, Ro 11:26, captivity would end after ISRAEL learn of His
spirit which was poured on them, Ez 39:28,29, HIS SPIRIT being words of life to
give them life—
Jn
6:63-- the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit,
It is the blood of redemption that cleanses the wife who
turned to be the harlot, Ez 16:15, Revelations 17:5, the blood which releases
captives, Zec 9:11.
God hates physical
polygamy ( as we understand from the worldly people ) or spiritual
polygamy (as we understand from Ez 16)
Through polygamy -----or bigamy -----or immoral sexuality,----
adultery -----or fornication -----peoples minds become CORRUPT AND SINFUL!. All
these sins are lusts of the flesh, Gal 5:19;21-- that could destroy the peace
and joy of families in lands.
GAL 5:
19 Now the works of the flesh are
manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness,
lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry,
witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings,
murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before,
as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall
not inherit the kingdom of God.
If God’s servants are causing these troubles in lands THAT CAUSE PEACE
OF LAND TO BE DESTROYED------
ARE THEY AMBASSODORS OF JESUS CHRIST ?
Isa 33:
5 The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on
high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.
6 Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of
your times, And the strength of salvation; The fear of the LORD is His
treasure.
7 Surely their valiant ones shall cry outside, The
ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.
The true ambassadors
of JESUS CHRIST are weeping to see the trouble in the land!
God’s people should understand that LORD hates divorce, Mal 2: 16, AND
----disfellowshipping, Eze 45:9 ‘Thus
says the Lord GOD: "Enough, O princes of Israel! Remove violence and plundering,
execute justice and righteousness, and stop dispossessing My people," says
the Lord GOD.
Therefore, God’s servants
should work to bring about peace—teach the people to have peace with one
another!
LORD’s covenant is of peace.
Mal 2:5 "My covenant
was with him, one of life and peace,
Eze 37:26 "Moreover I
will make a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting
covenant with them;
Isa 54:10 For the
mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall
not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,"
Says the LORD, who has mercy on you.
THEREFORE THE LORD WOULD MAKE AN ETERNAL COVENANT OF PEACE
IN Eze. 16: 60-62, WITH PCG AS MOTHER OF REST OF THE CALLED OUT ISRAEL, OF RO
9: 4,6.
If church
leaders are associated with physical or spiritual adulterous nature COULD A
COVENANT of PEACE TAKE PLACE BETWEEN THE CHURCH AND JESUS CHRIST?
2Co 5:20 Now then, we are
ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you
on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
Therefore people of God should understand that JESUS CHRIST
through His death had paved the way to forgive them and to give newness of
life, Ro 6:3,7, and thus when they get baptized unto His death they become
sinless and are able to make the marriage covenant with Him, Re 19:7. Therefore
LORD’s baptism is the garment mentioned in Re 19:8, THAT COULD MAKE HER
RIGHTEOUS, Ro 6: 19,22. When their Righteousness becomes as white linen, they
become saints, they are ready as a purified land, a virgin, Beulah &
Hepzibah, Is 62:4,5, that land would be new Jerusalem Re 21:1,2.
When we get LORD’s name we are to depart from iniquity,
2 Tim 2;19--Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth
sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are His. And, Let every
one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
LORD corrects the
same wife of ISRAEL !----He performs His words TO GIVE Righteousness TO HIS
WIFE! then she should DEPART FROM INIQUITY!
Therefore just as Paul said he would preach nothing but
JESUS CHRIST and Him crucified, 1 Co 2:2, people of God should BELIEVE IN
JESUS CHRIST AND HIS DEATH THAT
GIVES HIS Righteousness unto Holiness to serve Him, Ro 6: 19,22, NOT BEING
SLAVES OF SIN ANY MORE, RO 6: 6!
ALL PRAISE AND THANKS BE TO THE REDEEMER AND SAVIOUR OF
ISRAEL, Amen.
