LORD’S COVENANT WITH LEVI MADE TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE ATONEMENT OF JESUS CHRIST

Jer 33:21,23, JESUS CHRIST came as a BRANCH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, to raise ruins of David’s throne, Acts 15: 16, Amos 9: 11, ---

Jer 33:15,16, vs. 24-26 shows the two families –Jacob and David. Therefore we see that  THE LORD IS PREPARING

1)      A David TYPE OF A RULER to rule ISRAEL

2)      A people OBEDIENT to GOD OUT OF ISRAEL – Jer 31:35,35 ( a seed of ISRAEL as a nation before Him), to worship according to His will, ---with all flesh, Isa 66: 23,

3)      Levi AND A PRIESTHOOD from ISRAEL, Ro 9: 4,6.

Eze. 37:27-My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

PILLARS OF TEMPLE ARE Levi AND MINISTRY--James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, Ga 2:9, ---Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, Re 3:12,

Ps. 75: The earth and all its inhabitants are dissolved; I set up its pillars firmly. Selah

LORD SHAKES HEAVEN AND EARTH ---DISSOLVES EVERYTHING---AND MAKE NEW THINGS----NEW PILLARS!

This is Mal 3: 2,3, Amos 9: 11 purification of Levi!

First LORD REQUIRES THE MINISTRY IN HIS TEMPLE, TO WORSHIP HIM, AND TO TEACH HOW TO WORSHIP HIM!

Jer 33:17  "For thus says the LORD: ‘David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel;

Jer 33:18  ‘nor shall the priests, the Levites, lack a man to offer burnt offerings before Me, to kindle grain offerings, and to sacrifice continually.’"

What are these sacrifices offered continually?

Isa 57:19  I create the fruit of the lips;

Heb 13:15  By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to HIS name.

So Levi are to offer fruit of our lips GIVING THANKS AND PRAISE TO HIS NAME!---Levi should get prepared for their functions keeping the laws of SANCTUARY!—then they should learn what they are!

All those who transgress against His laws would never enter new Jerusalem, Re 21: 8, 22: 14, 15, Isa 66: 24!

(ISRAEL leader Gerald Flurry’s {prophet of Eze. 2: 5, 33: 33}, responsibility was removed as they err in SANCTUARY, Isa 22: 25, and gentile feeble serve as David, Zec 12: 8, Isa 60: 22, now until LORD brings the captives, Jer 33: 26).

That means HE IS PREPARING HIS SANCTUARY amidst ISRAEL Ez 37:23-27, served by the gentile seed, Ps. 22: 30,  (people of ISRAEL would be gathered from spiritual captivity in nations, Eze. 39: 28, 29), for Him to dwell among them, Eze. 48: 35, Re 21: 3,4, 22: 3-5.

Re 22: 3  And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and His servants shall serve Him:

Vs. 5; they shall reign for ever and ever.

THEY ARE THE Levi AND PRIESTHOOD, corrected, purged as gold and silver, Mal 3: 2,3----kings who would be PREPARED TO SERVE  THE KING in His TABERNACLE! ---JESUS CHRIST is KING of kings!

Re 11: 15---!

Re 11: 16  And the four and twenty elders, --- fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,----NOTICE---when KING and kings sits forever, Re 11: 15, TWENTY FOUR ELDERS WOULD BE THERE!

That is the THRONE OF DAVID, 1 Chr 25: 1-6,  which WORSHIPPED GOD!

(this vs. shows that JESUS CHRIST had raised the ruins , as in the days of old, {Amos 9: 11}—then ISRAEL would worship as David did!

It is the TABERNACLE , where David the king (or a type of David) and ISRAEL ministry would worship God just as David did!

Even king Hezekiah did that way ---

2Ch 29:30  Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

When ISRAEL captivity was over during king Hezekiah’s time, he and princes DID THE WAY DAVID DID!---with the WORDS OF DAVID!

Asaph had written Ps. 73-83 and some others, while many are David’s!

We are to sing praise from psalms!

Eze. 37:27-My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

28    And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when My sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

·        Just as David is represented today by gentiles, Zec 12:8, Is 60:9,22 Levi and priesthood is represented by the same gentiles as Zadok’s sons who did not go astray when ISRAEL went astray-Ez 44:15 (Zadok is descending from Levi, Aaron, Eleazer-1 Ch 6:1-8

LORD gives many responsibilities to even one servant—Gerald Flurry of Philadelphia Church of God WAS A PROPHET, Eze. 2: 5, 33 :33, represented Ezekiel , Eze. 24: 24, Eliakim, Isa 22: 20-24, and we had shown how he is as Assyrian, Isa 14: 16, as Pharaoh, Ro 9: 17, the man of cities, Jer 20; 16 and so on!—similarly---LORD had given gentiles many responsibilities! He got gentiles to serve Him in Isa 56: 4-7 , LORD’S house.

Therefore  LORD’s covenant which WAS BROKEN BY PCG, was PRESERVED by JESUS CHRIST Himself with His short work, Ro 9:28, served by assembly, La 1:15,Re 11:2

·        Only Levi is chosen by God to carry the ark of God, 1 Ch 15:2,11 (Zadok is there) Levites as gate keepers had many duties 1 Ch 9:23-32 (in   over chambers, treasuries of house of God, opening it on mornings, serving vessels, responsibility over all things in the house)

·        Some Levites as singers-day and night-1 Ch 15:33

·        Book of Leviticus, law of Moses, prophets, psalms, concerns JESUS CHRIST, Lk 24:44 -----laws of faith in New Testament has to guide Levi, sacrifices were done away , with better sacrifices and better covenant as JESUS CHRIST created. (fruit of lips to be offered, Isa 57:19, Heb 13:15).

·        Old law is replaced with the same laws fulfilled with love, Ro 13:8-10 well, the priest should know the whole Bible to learn of God’s mind. He is loving, kind merciful according to His judgments for instance—to the merciful, He is merciful, Ps 18:25, He forgives, when we forgive, Mt 6:12, well the word of God has to be studied , the LORD will help you to write them in your hearts.

·        One generation should teach the next generation, Ps. 77:5-8, Is 59:21. Even though we die, Isa 65:20 ----our names would be carried on by the next generations and the Father’s names would be written in the book of life.

·        In his days, king Hezekiah and Levites cleansed themselves and thanked God using David’s words---2 Ch 29: 30, 31

·        Tithes and offerings were distributed among Levites and priests according to genealogy and their needs-2 Ch 31:9-20. We see things has to be done ORDERLY, in God’s SANCTUARY.

·        That is why we see these things  in Ezekiel temple.

·        In Lord’s SANCTUARY there are many offices—LORD said so, Joh 14:2! That is why Ezekiel temple has many rooms.

·        Mal 3:2,3-Levi are purged today to become gold! Levites priests should know their responsibilities in the covenant they make with JESUS CHRIST 

Mal 2:4  And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that My covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

In the days of Phinehas, the leaders nearly broke the covenant with Levi, but because Phinehas was zealous for God, IT WAS PRESERVED.

Now—Philadelphia Church of God broke the covenant ---BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST DID A SHORT WORK BEING THE ATONEMENT FOR ISRAEL , THE COVENANT WITH Levi IS PRESERVED!

If JESUS CHRIST did not intervene the communion of GOD  and ISRAEL would have ended!

LORD SEPARATED LEVI FOR COVENANT MATTERS--

De 10:8  At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in His name, unto this day.--- De 31:9  And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD,

During David’s time they erred and Uzza died, 1Ch 13:10, 1Ch 13:11, David was afraid of the LORD, 2Sa 6: 7, 9, 1Ch 13:12 , ---BUT DAVID LEARNT THE LESSON—1 Chr 15: 2  Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto Him for ever.

EVEN THOUGH DAVID ERRED, HE QUICKLY CORRECTED IT AND TAUGHT THE Levi TO HANDLE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT!

When leaders make mistakes, they should quickly repent and correct matters in LORD’s SANCTUARY!

THE FOLLOWING IS A LAW FOR LEVI---

Le 22: 25  Neither from a stranger’s hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

AND Philadelphia Church of God BROKE THE COVENANT THROUGH WORKING AGAINST THAT LAW, in Eze. 44: 7 ,

through Bamah matter, Eze. 20: 29, just as PN NEWS RECORDED IN year 2000.

Philadelphia Church of God took 14 ministers and 800 people from Bamah !

Eze. 44: 7--7  In that ye have brought into My sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary, to pollute it, even My house, when ye offer My bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken My covenant because of all your abominations.

STRANGERS WOULD NOT BE ACCEPTED ON BEHALF OF ISRAEL! ---that is the lesson, in Bamah matter, {see below}!

Levi had corrupted---then just as David corrected, they should correct!

Mal 2:8  But ye are departed out of the way; ye have caused many to stumble at the law; ye have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

LORD took away the responsibilities from Gerald Flurry, Isa 22: 25. and Gerald Flurry  does not know what is happening, Ps. 74: 9.

He is getting help from H.W.Armstrong’s books to worship H.W.Armstrong! –he uses his own words, Jer 2: 30.

Mal 3; 2  But who may abide the day of His coming?--- 3  And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

4  Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

THAT IS HOW JESUS CHRIST CORRECTED THE MATTER!

Then in acts 15: 16, Amos 9: 11---JESUS CHRIST said HE WOULD REPAIR THE RUINS IN DAVID’S THRONE, ---AND IN THE DAYS OF Gerald Flurry, LORD SAID HE WOULD FULFILL ALL THESE THINGS, Eze. 12: 25-28

Lu 24:44--all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.

Lu 22:37--for the things concerning Me have an end.

WE SEE in Ezekiel temple matters, HOW THE LORD INSTRUCTS THE LEADER WHO REPRESENT Ezekiel TO DO THE FUNCTIONS OF Levi—CONCERNING ORDINANCES, AND LAWS!

Eze 44:5  And the LORD said unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I say unto thee concerning all the ordinances of the house of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the house, with every going forth of the sanctuary.

Therefore we see that JESUS CHRIST had given knowledge to priests and Levi in His short work, so that Covenant of Levi continues forever.

Lessons from Zadok’s sons –one could read in Leviticus book and even a little in Eze. 44: 15—25.

Vs. 18  They shall have linen turbans upon their heads, and shall have linen trousers  upon their loins;---linen turbans picture justice, Job 29: 14, linen trousers are Righteous acts, Re 19: 8.—

PRIESTS SHOULD NOT BE PARTIAL, SOLVE PROBLEMS WITH JUSTICE, BEING FAIR TO EVERY ONE!

Lessons from Abihu , and Nadab , Aaron’s sons who were killed by God for DISOBEDIENCE—could be learnt from Le 10---ALL THESE ARE EXAMPLES FOR US TODAY!

Just as He led gentiles for their work in the end time, Re 11: 2-4, He would ordain ISRAEL their work very shortly. That means He would bring ISRAEL to see Him pierced, Re 1:7 , Joh 19:37, Zec 12:10, that is  He would bring them to repentance.

Mystery of JESUS CHRIST has to be studied in two parts, JESUS CHRIST AND HIM CRUCIFED, that is why Paul wrote 1 Co 2: 2 (Paul determined not to know any thing -- save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified).

HIM CRUCIFIED WOULD TEACH YOU OF HIS BLOOD OF THE COVENANT!

JESUS CHRIST  cleanses us with His blood, so did He with gentiles, Eph 2: 11-13, that means gentiles got the blessing of HIS BLOOD.

ISRAEL would be released from captivity through that BLOOD, Zec 9: 11---

That is the blood of the covenant which WOULD BE COUNTED AS DISGRACED IN HEB 10: 29–IF WE WILFULLY SIN! (as we are required not to serve sin after enlightment, Ro 6: 6, 2 Tim 2: 19). Read Heb 10: 26-31 to notice that any who are sanctified by His blood would deserve sorer punishment than for Moses’ time. We disgrace HIS SPIRIT OF GRACE WHEN WE SIN!

LORD’S WORK IS SERIOUS, AFTER WE ARE CLEANSED THROUGH HIS BLOOD, WE SHOULD NOT RISE TO PLAY, EAT AND DRINK as the fathers did, it is written for our example in 1 Co 10: 1-12 ----our responsibilities should come first, and we should know what we are doing! ---SERVING THE GOD OF WHOLE EARTH IS AN AWESOME WORK!

Since this is the everlasting covenant, we cannot sin again and again,

Heb 9:26  For then must He often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:28---So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Heb 10: 4  For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

9  Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second.

10  By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

JESUS CHRIST IS LIVING TODAY---HE CANNOT DIE AGAIN AND AGAIN—therefore His sacrifice is ONCE FOR ALL!

14  For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

16  This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17  And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

18  Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

19 -Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

20  By a new and living way,

AND THIS NEW LIVING WAY IS GIVEN THROUGH RO 6: 3-7 BAPTIZM UNTO HIS DEATH—

Ro 6: 3-7—

After we get His baptizm, we should not serve sin anymore, Ro 6: 6, and depart from iniquity, 2 Tim 2: 19. lusts should be crucified daily, Gal 5: 24.

IF ONE DOES NOT KNOW JESUS CHRIST CRUCIFIED, YOU WOULD NOT GET THE BLESSINGS OF THE CUP!

We should honour His sacrifice, and partake of His blood to be saved, and honour His laws to remain as a holy people unto Him.
