GREAT THINGS OF JESUS CHRIST AS EXPLAINED IN WORD OF GOD, GIVE LIGHT TO HIS PEOPLE ISRAEL
Col 1:16-all things were created by Him, and for Him:
De 8:3-by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.
1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
1Pe 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.
2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
1Jo 2:5 But whoso keepeth His word, in Him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him.
Re 19:13 -His name is called The Word of God.
NOTICE—born again by the word of God—keep words—so that the love of God is perfected in you—He is WORD OF GOD. He gave the words of Ro 6: 3-7, when we keep those words we become born again, and become sinless---we become perfect as HE IS---HIS LOVE WOULD BE SHED ABROAD IN OUR HEARTS, Ro 5: 5.
We know LORD’S LOVE is AGAPE LOVE—IT IS A GREAT THING BELONGING TO HIM---His love contains mercy, grace, patience, kindness, goodness, and very many things—each one of those is also IS GIVEN IN ABUNDANT MEASURES---very great things!
ALL THOSE THINGS GIVE HIS LIGHT TO US TO BE PART OF NEW JERUSALEM, HIS BRIDE, Re 21: 2,3, Isa 62: 4,5.
We learn all these from the WORD OF GOD! ---therefore WORD OF GOD would lighten ISRAEL and all flesh, to worship Him as He wills, Isa 66: 23, in the SANCTUARY He creates in the midst of ISRAEL, Eze 37:28.

INTRODUCTION—
Some of the great things of JESUS CHRIST given in abundance are written in this article as examples, because nobody would be able to find out all the things He gives us!
LORD sees things differently than how men see—THEY ARE VERY DEEP THINGS!
Example—when men see death, we think of physical deaths ending in graves—
but LORD sees death as the DEATH OF GENERATIONS, and very much so, WHEN HIS CHILDREN OF ISRAEL ARE CONCERNED, Amos 3: 2—
LORD sees the priesthood AS DEAD, Eze. 9: 6, die by sword and famine, Jer 44:12 , Jer 42:16 , 17, 22, La 5:10 (famine of word of God, Amos 8: 11). Dead, when they do against HIS JUDGMENTS, COMMANDMENTS, LAW, STATUTES---!
Life of ISRAEL was cut off from registry of ISRAEL , Eze. 13: 9 (because they broke covenant, Eze. 16: 59, 44 ; 7, LORD ( HE DID IT, as the GREAT COUNSELOR, Isa 9: 6), HE SEES AS they made a covenant with death, and the LORD annulled it, Isa 28: 15, 18, then to save them He sent them into captivity to give knowledge of His Baptizm unto His death, Ro 6: 3-7, which gives His righteousness unto Holiness to serve Him, vss. 19,22 , THEREBY THEY GET NEWNESS OF LIFE, AND THEY COULD CONTINUE GENERATIONS, Isa 59: 21, setting hope on their God, Ps. 78: 5-7)---THEREFORE PEOPLE CONCERNED SHOULD KEEP THOSE WORDS!
Since LORD sets His SANCTUARY in the midst of ISRAEL , Eze 37:28, He requires to see a seed of ISRAEL, through His sacrifice, Isa 53: 10. this seed would be THE BRIDE HE PURIFIES, Isa 62: 4,5, Isa 53; 10.
A physical thing that helps to understand is—a family which has no son ---such a family would not be able to prolong their generation—similarly, when God cuts name of ISRAEL family from the registry means ---THEIR LIFE IS CUT OFF!
HE WOULD NOT MAKE A REBELLIOUS PRIESTHOOD ETERNAL!
They have to be corrected, chastened, taught of God’s ways---then they could become obedient children of God to be in the category of BRIDE, Isa 62: 4,5!
LORD says the covenant breaking sin as spiritual harlotry—then how could a harlot be made as a virgin as said in Isa 62: 4,5?-----when one goes through Ro 6: 3-7, LORD’S BAPTIZM UNTO HIS DEATH, he receives the cup of blessing, and would become born again, ---in newness of life---sins all forgiven---he is A NEW PERSON---not a HARLOT---BUT A VIRGIN!
COULD WE SEE HOW JESUS CHRIST COULD TURN A HARLOT INTO A VIRGIN? ---one has to FOLLOW or KEEP His words of Ro 6: 3-7, then YOU WOULD GET THAT GREAT BLESSING!
JESUS CHRIST would not marry a desolated woman Jerusalem---but NEW JERUSALEM, Re 21: 2,3.

GOD CREATES ISRAEL SANCTUARY FOREVER, Eze 37:28
THAT MEANS ISRAEL LIFE SHOULD LAST FOREVER, SO IF LORD DID NOT DO THIS WORK TO ESTABLISH THEM----their life would end—covenant with ancestors would end! BUT LORD IS FAITHFUL TO ANCESTORS, AND THERE IS NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE TO JESUS CHRIST, Mt 19:26, Lu 18:27!

When ISRAEL PCG broke covenant, He profaned SANCTUARY, Eze. 24: 21, AND PROFANED THE LEADERS of SANCTUARY, Isa 43:28, gave Jacob to the curse, Israel to reproaches, Isa 43:28, then ISRAEL Laodiceans did a daily and continual with reproaches, Ps. 74: 22,23. 1Co 10:22 Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than He?
HE IS GREAT—HE WOULD HUMBLE US!
Ro 11:11 I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles.
Ro 11: 26-And so all Israel will be saved, 27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.---THAT IS THE MEANING OF “JESUS”—Mt 1: 21—“He would save His people”---so all ISRAEL would be saved, from covenant of death they made, Isa 28: 15.
SINS COULD BRING ETERNAL DEATHS, THAT WOULD END TO WORSHIP GOD FROM ISRAEL CONGREGATION!
LORD teaches that strangers, like in Bamah matter, Eze. 44: 7, should never be brought to altar, Eze 44:9, it violates God’s law of SANCTUARY, Le 22: 25.
He would take Zadok type servants to come near Him, Eze 44:15, until ISRAEL are sanctified, Eze. 43: 18-27, In vs. 27 they are accepted. LORD’S LAWS OF SANCTUARY SHOULD BE HONOURED!

Ps 47:7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.
1Co 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
Therefore---psalms should be sung with understanding (full psalm should be sung!)
Sing with spirit—means sing with the understanding from the word of God, Jn 6: 63.

Verses of this hymn are explained below--
Vs. 1—"Unto God I lift my voice; Unto Him I cry.
In the day my trouble comes, Then I seek my God.
In the night I do not cease, I am overwhelmed;
I remember God and moan; Never close my eyes."
--Mic 3:6 Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
Vs. 1 says of leader of Laodiceans , Philadelphia Church of God to mourn during night as there is no vision for prophet, (no more prophet, Ps. 74: 9, his peg removed, Isa 22: 25, there HATH BEEN a prophet, Eze. 2: 5,6, SANCTUARY profaned, Eze. 24: 21, other leaders profaned, Isa 43:28,--so LORD’S DAY is dark for them! ).
Vs. 2—"I consider days of old; Years of ancient times.
I commune with mine own heart; Search and meditate.
Will the Lord cast off His love, And no more be kind?
Is this now my lot and trial; Will His kindness fail?"
When they consider days of old (David’s day, Amos 9: 11, ---Ne 12:46 For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.---), these Laodiceans have to search, if LORD cast off His love, no more ISRAEL, as ISRAEL was cut off , Eze. 13: 9, as they broke the covenant, Eze. 16: 59—because of their DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD! –PSALMIST wonders in this psalm, (Asaph the seer of David, 2Ch 29:30, 2Ch 35:15, wonders---will His kindness fail?----THANKFULLY HIS MERCY NEVER FAILS, Ps. 136. HE IS FAITHFUL TO THE ANCESTORS, Jer 33: 15-26 (He sent Laodiceans into captivity, brings them back, Jer 33: 26, teach them and bring back, in a second exodus, Isa 11: 11, from many countries where they are scattered, Jer 23: 7,8.

Vs. 3—"Has the Most High strength no more; Has His promise failed?
Then I think of His great works; Muse on wonders old.
I will talk of His great deeds; Who is great like God?
God's true way is holiness; Far removed from sin."
We do not have to question GOD’S STRENGTH! Laodiceans are in NATIONS, Eze. 12: 15---but these NATIONS ARE AS A DROP IN A BUCKET to God, Isa 40:15,—it is simple for God to bring them back, and as He is a great counsellor, HE KNOWS HOW THEY SHOULD BE BROUGHT BACK---He teaches them (pours His spirit), before returning from captivity, Eze. 39: 28, 29!

WE SPEAK OF HIS GREAT THINGS understanding that psalms concern JESUS CHRIST, Lu. 24: 44—HIS WAYS—HIS COVENANT –HIS COMMANDMENTS –HIS JUDGMENTS---HIS LAWS OF LOVE—HIS WAY OF HOLINESS—HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS---and the many things (though we may only speak of a few of those in this article, as one would understand LORD’S THINGS, HIS POWER CANNOT BE WRITTEN IN A MERE FEW PAGES!)
You would have seen how LORD ANNULLED THE COVENANT OF DEATH ISRAEL MADE---LORD IS THE MIGHTY COUNSELOR---WE SHOULD JUST LISTEN TO HIM AND DO WHAT HE SAYS!
He annulled it SO THAT HE GIVES HIS perfect Righteousness unto Holiness, Ro 6: 19,22, FAR REMOVED FROM SIN (as the above vs. of hymn)---from His own baptizm unto His death, Ro 6: 3-7!

VS. 4—"By God's mighty arm and strength, Israel was saved.
Then the waters of the seas Saw and did obey.
Clouds poured forth and lightening flashed; Thunders rent the skies;
Whirlwinds shook the earth below; God so led His flock."
In line 1-4---History of exodus in Ps. 77, spoken as a prophecy , Lk 24: 44—JUST AS THAT the second exodus, Isa 11: 11; IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN!---how do we know?—
Line 1-2-- they were saved in history—prophecy is that ISRAEL now in captivity by word of God, are in many nations, Eze. 12: 15; They would be saved from many nations, not only from Egypt, Jer 23; 7,8, repeating history, ---but from nations.
Line 2-4--LORD depicts ISRAEL AS IN A SEA, La 2: 13,
LORD came in clouds, work of clouds served by gentiles, Eze. 30; 3,9. Isa 60: 9
Clouds pour water to cover the sea where Laodiceans are, Isa 11: 9! (that water to cover sea are knowledge of JESUS CHRIST, Isa 11: 9, Hab 2:14)
Clouds—Son of man in clouds—prophesied by Daniel for last days, Da 7:13-- tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory, Mt 24:30 (LORD knew only tribes of ISRAEL, Amos 3: 2, so they would see, ISRAEL is church, Ro 9 : 4,6) –THEY SEE THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH HIS WORK OF CLOUDS! (LORD WOULD MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND the Laodiceans IN A MIGHTY WAY!)
Lines 3-4---clouds pour water, as gentiles in cloudy time, Eze. 30: 3, gentiles get the light of JESUS CHRIST , they give this light to ISRAEL, Isa 60: 1—they are flashing the light of JESUS CHRIST to ISRAEL--Mt 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Zec 9:14 And the LORD shall be seen over them, and His arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.—when His arrows sent by gentiles, give lightning --LORD is seen over gentile work which gives light to ISRAEL!
JESUS CHRIST is leading this work!
--out of the fire went forth lightning, Eze. 1: 13, appearance of a flash of lightning, Eze. 1: 14 (Eze. 1 discuss the throne of JESUS CHRIST, Dan 7: 9, gentiles serve, Eze. 30: 3, so the words of JESUS CHRIST are brought to ISRAEL by gentiles of east, man of east given the charge of NATIONS, Isa 41:2, man that executeth My counsel from a far country, of east, Isa 46:11 (notice that vs.--this man of east is compared to a ravenous bird, A CROW –just as Elijah was given food by ravens, 1Ki 17:4-6)
So lightning comes from east---flashes to west, Mt 24: 27— Isa 60: 1 -Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.—3- Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.—please read Isa 60 and 60: 9 says of Tarshish, Isa 60: 9, of east, Ps 48:7 Thou breakest the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.---therefore the light flashes from Tarshish gentiles to Laodiceans of ISRAEL to give light of JESUS CHRIST ---
LORD shall be seen AS LIGHTNING---lightning is GIVING LIGHT—to LIGHTEN A DARK PLACE! Because ISRAEL prophets are in darkness--
(Mic 3:6 Therefore night shall be unto you,---in this vs. prophet cannot divine—cannot see visions, dark as night! Ps. 74: 9 had happened!—{no more prophet}).
Zec 9:14-LORD shall be seen over them,-- His arrow -- as the lightning: -- Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
Ps. 64: 4- 10 says of bitter words as arrows sent from wicked to innocents—BUT IN vs. 7 - God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep, VS. 6---
THESE THOUGHTS of hearts COULD BE SEARCHED BY GOD’S WORDS AS SWORDS, Heb 4: 12-----therefore---LORD SENDS A TRUMPET with HIS WORDS which comes with WHIRLWINDS OF SOUTH, gentiles send the trumpet—gentiles as ELECT, Ro 11: 4-7, 9: 30-31, renewed their strength in the LORD, as written in Isa 41. Isa 41: 2 says of east, their work is compared to WHIRLWINDS, Isa 41: 16,17.

Gentiles were grafted to serve JESUS CHRIST as David did, Zec 12: 8, Gentiles who were grafted to ISRAEL, without repentance, obtained mercy, Ro 11:29 , 30. the gentiles were sanctified through His blood, Eph 2: 11-13, to serve Him, in house of God, Isa 56: 4-7, as David, Zec 12: 8---WE SHOUD SEE THAT LORD REQUIRES HIS MINISTERS ( His servants), TO BE SANCTIFIED TO SERVE HIM, the sanctification has to be done through HIS BLOOD, THAT IS THE KIND OF Righteousness THAT WE SHOULD GET TO SERVE HIM!!

To RETURN to serve God, they have to be cleansed through His blood!
Hos 14: 1,2 requires WORDS TO BE TAKEN TO RETURN TO HIM, they are the words of getting the blessing of His blood as remission of sins---THEY ARE WORDS OF RO 6: 3-7.
Amos 7: 8 And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

(the sins of Jeroboam had repeated in present day ISRAEL who had the covenant rights, Ro 9: 4!—{Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made. Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, 1Ki 12: 31,32

Ps 86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Ps 86:15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
Ps 145:7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.
Ps 145:8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

WORDS GIVE KNOWLEDGE TO FILL US WITH FULNESS OF GOD!
1Jo 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Tit 3:6 Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
1Jo 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1Jo 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
Ex 15:11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?(gods are those who got the word of God, Joh 10:35—no priest, apostle or prophet could be compared to God—but PCG ministry compared themselves with God!)

WHO ARE THE AFFLICTED OF HIS PEOPLE?

Each article in http://www.restoringcaptivity.com is about the covenant breaking sin of Philadelphia Church of God (PCG), the gravity of it, how they were sent to captivity and how the LORD would redeem them from captivity.
They made the marriage covenant as said in Eze. 16: 8, the church f God of last era, PCG thus got the blessings of Ez 16: 8-14, but they are not worthy of it, Isa 41: 27-29, Jer 2: 3.
Gerald Flurry had acknowledged this covenant in his booklet of Ezekiel. It is someone who had the covenant only that could break it! LORD considers them as the ISRAEL church who was given the right to covenant and God’s service as said in Ro 9: 4,6.
When they thus BROKE THE COVENANT OF GOD, Eze. 16: 59, 44: 7, Jer 51: 51, against the SANCTUARY LAW, Le 22: 25, HE TOO WAS HIDING from them, we gentiles know of this iniquity of PCG, THAT THEY WERE SENT INTO CAPTIVITY BECAUSE OF THEIR INIQUITY, Eze. 39: 21-23.
LORD in keeping with His words to be reconciled to the wife, 1 Co 7: 11, makes a new covenant with Philadelphia Church of God , Eze. 16: 60-62, as they broke the covenant, Eze. 16: 59, THIS IS DONE with THE LORD’S ATONEMENT, Eze. 16: 63, which is His sacrifice—and when they keep the words of RO 6; 3-7---they GET THE LIGHT OF LORD’S SACRIFICE which is getting BAPTIZED UNTO HIS DEATH!—this is why Hos 14: 1,2 requires to take the words of His to return to Him!

WHATEVER JESUS CHRIST OFFERS ARE LONG—BIG—ENORMOUS—GIVES IN ABUNDANCE---

Isa 42; 4, 14,15---we see how HE SUFFERS LONG TO GET HIS SANCTUARY amidst ISRAEL, His chosen, Eze 37:28, IN HOLINESS ACCORDING TO HIS STANDARS!---since the creation, what a long time He had waited to get the eternal SANCTUARY MADE FOR HIM, in the midst of ISRAEL, Eze 37:28, as His chosen family is ISRAEL, Amos 3: 2, all ISRAEL are not ISRAEL, Ro 9: 4,6, but the priests and people of His congregation.---His way is in a SANCTUARY, Ps. 77: 13.
• Long patience,--- He husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, Jas 5:7
• To Beautify the LORD’S SANCTUARY,( involves a lot of work), Is 60:13, He has to correct the bride, give her the clothes of Righteousness, Re 19; 7,8)
• Forgiving them from east to west, Ps 103:12, Isa 43:5

• Generations,-- He commanded, for a thousand generations, Ps 105:8 , but only 42 upto JESUS CHRIST, Mt 1:17—the rest of the generations should continue!

• When LORD glorifies ISRAEL, IT IS DONE THROUGH HIS SACRIFICE, AND THE MESSAGES WERE GIVEN BY SHIPS –Is 60:9, Eze. 30: 3,9, AS LORD DEPICTS Jerusalem as troubled as sea, La 2: 13 (LORD SEES THINGS IN BIG WAYS!)
• Making covenant eternal---FOR GENERATIONS, Is 59:21 (COULD ANYONE MAKE ETERNAL PROMISES?---ONLY JESUS CHRIST COULD DO SO!)
• Salvation GIVEN TO GENERATIONS through HIS COVENANT , -Is 59:21
• Fountain FOR UNCLEANNESS OF ISRAEL opened---to cleanse their sins--Zec 13:1---it becomes floods, and LORD sits as KING on these floods, Ps. 29: 10.---he sends rivers of water, Isa 41:18, rivers from coastlands, Isa 42:15
• Erecting the temple—which WOULD last for ever-Heb 8:1,2—Philadelphia Church of God SHOULD NOT BOAST OF H.W.Armstrong COLLEGES ALL OVER THE WORLD! ---nobody could sanctify God’s church other than JESUS CHRIST!

• Judgment done by executing words, Eze. 16: 40-42, Re 20: 12—DEATH –HELL—SEA—gave up dead to be judged –Re 20 13---THAT IS END TIME MINISTERS COMPARED TO BE IS SEA, LA 2: 13, they who were dead in hell, pits, Eze. 12: 15, THEY ARE IN CAPTIVITY , (prophets , priests of Jerusalem in graves, Jer 8:1, THEY WERE JUDGED ACCORDING TO WHAT THEY HAD WRITTEN---their own works were judged, comparing with THE WORDS OF BOOK OF LIFE, THE BIBLE, RE 20; 12, (JESUS CHRIST did it through the gentile work, Ez 16: 40-42)!

• Punish through cup of fury –ALL DONE BY WORDS! –LORD SAID HIS WORDS WOULD FULFILL, Eze. 12: 25-28--cup of fury given to “nations” which are the ministry of Philadelphia Church of God , Eze. 12: 15 (Laodiceans), they were assembled in Jehoshaphat valley (assembly depicted in words of Jer 25: 18—26), (this is same crowd in Armageddon)--- they were given the cup of fury, Jer 25: 15-17, that cup has coals, brimstone, Ps. 11: 6, LORD’S POWERFUL WORDS GIVEN AS CUP OF FURY! • Ministers who were scattered AS NATIONS, Eze. 12: 15, in land of Chaldea, vs. 13. they sit as captives –Eze. 1: I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.----THESE WERE SHOWN TO THE LEADER OF Philadelphia Church of God—BUT THEY WERE SHOWN IN WORDS! Prophet even misunderstood all the visions—he thought the prophecies were directed at WCG---but LORD spoke of him and his ministers who are as thorns and briers, Eze. 2: 5,6. LORD SHOWED MANY VISIONS FROM HIS THRONE, Dan 7: 9, Eze. 1 onwards a few chapters show that LORD spoke from His throne, Eze. 1: 26, Eze. 10: 1
• Captives in nations---WORD SHOWED THE CAPTIVES AS IN NATIONS, ---“nations” are mentioned all over prophecies –THEY ARE DIRECTED AT Laodiceans! –it is A SIMPLE THING TO FIGHT THESE NATIONS, HE TAKES THEM AS A DROP IN A BUCKET, Isa 40:15
• Second exodus---LORD BRINGS THESE CAPTIVES OF THE Laodiceans AS IN A SECOND EXODUS—Isa 11; 11---all done through word of God!
• Shame on PCG---they did not understand any prophecies, because they were proud against JESUS CHRIST, Against the Holy One of Israel, Jer 50:29,
• After chastening –THEY WOULD no longer be haughty In GOD’S holy mountain, AND THEIR SHAME WOULD BE NO MORE, AS GOD PUTS AN END TO THEIR PRIDE, Zep 3:11

sacrifice and offering for sin, remission, atonement, Eze. 16: 63, Ro 5:11 , bearing sins, Heb 9:28 --cleansing, salvation, reconciliation, Rom 5: 10, Passover , Joh 6:54, 57, Mt 26:26, Mr 14:22 , 1Co 11:24, Many made righteous, Rom 5: 19, Rom 3: 21-22, for atonement, Ro 5:11, the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with His stripes we are healed ,Isa 53: 5-12 the promise of inheritance, Eze. Chap. 47-48, through the new covenant, Mt 26:28, Mr 14:24 , Lu 22:20, 1Co 11:25 -"This cup is the new covenant in My blood”, Heb 9:18, Heb 9:20 saying, "This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you."(that means the blood is shed to make the new covenant)—made possible for captives to return, Zec 9; 11, giving eternal life, Joh 6; 54, many more you would find when reading scriptures!
Acts 2: 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.----THEREFORE one had to be Baptized unto His death, Ro 6: 3-7, which gives His righteousness unto Holiness to serve Him, vss. 19,22.

H.W.Armstrong taught NOT TO HONOUR CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST—and what was the result---THEY END UP WITH JOHN’S BAPTIZM---the immersion baptizm!---AND THEY FELL BACKWARDS, AS THEY HAD NOT TAKEN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST!

SO THE SAME WORDS WERE KNOWN TO GENTILES---ISRAEL DID STUMBLE AT THOSE WORDS!
H.W.Armstrong or Gerald Flurry did not know what Peter and Paul said of the baptizm of JESUS CHRIST!

JOHN THE BAPTIZT SAID-- Mt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit , and with fire:

Joh 15:7 "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
Then CAPTIVES SHOULD TAKE THE WORDS of Ro 6: 3-22, and ask JESUS CHRIST TO PURIFY AND TO BAPTIZE UNTO HIS DEATH! ---IT SHALL BE DONE!
