NEW MOON DAY IS AN APPOINTED TIME AS NUMBERS 28 AND 29 MAKES IT CLEAR OF THE APPOINTED TIMES WHEN ISRAEL THE CHOSEN Rom. 9.4 ARE TO MAKE OFFERINGS

THE APPOINTED TIMES FOR Sanctuary MATTERS ARE ORDAINED BY GOD--

NUMBERS 28 makes us understand that IT IS COMMANDED BY GOD FOR ISRAEL FAMILY OF GOD TO MAKE OFFERINGS AT APPOINTED TIMES, vs. 1—and that chapter makes it clear that the OFFERINGS ARE TO BE MADE ---on mornings, evenings, (mornings and evenings are the daily and continual), Sabbaths (as a sign between God and ISRAEL, Eze. 20; 20), BEGINNINGS OF each MONTH (at the time of new moons), Passover and Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Trumpets, day of Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles. (All the instructions given in Nu 28, 29).

We see in those words that HE REQUIRES LAMBS WITHOUT BLEMISH!

Similarly---LORD REQUIRES Righteousness unto Holiness IN THOSE WHO SERVE HIM, and that is given through HIS SACRIFICE, TO HIS BELIEVERS WHO GETS BAPTIZED UNTO HIS DEATH, Rom. 6. JESUS CHRIST

JESUS CHRIST GOD OF WHOLE EARTH, Isa. 54; 5, shakes heaven and earth to make ISRAEL and ALL FLESH worship Him on Sabbaths, beginnings of months (which is days of New Moons), Isa. 66; 22, 23.

THAT IS LORD’S WILL—King David kept them, 1 Chr 23: 30-31, King Solomon kept them, 2 Chr 2: 4, King Hezekiah kept them when captives returned, 2 Chr 31: 3, 4, captives returning to Ezekiel  temple are to keep them, Eze. 46: 1,3,6, IT IS FOREVER, Isa. 66: 23, LORD JESUS CHRIST REVIVES David’s ways, Amos 9: 11---all captives are to do as David did, 2 Chr 29: 25- 30. READ 2 Chr 29, 30. (Ezekiel temple ordinances too are as what king Hezekiah did, we should understand that LORD ordains special ways for captives to RETURN TO HIM!

In the olden days they had to sacrifice animals, BUT NOW THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS CHRIST HAS TO BE HONOURED by baptizm unto His death, Rom. 6: 3-7, to serve Him in Righteousness, vv. 19, 22. Then we should not serve sin, Rom. 6: 6.

Numbers are records of commands to children of ISRAEL for their services in Sanctuary, when they were to be established in Promised Land. The following notes of Spurgeon are recorded scriptures in Nu 28 and 29—“God commanded Moses to repeat them to the people in the following order, as you see in chapter 28: — 1. Daily:  the morning and evening sacrifices; a lamb each time. (vv.3, 4.)  2.  Weekly:  the Sabbath offerings; two lambs of a year old.  (vv. 9,10.)  3.  Monthly:  at the beginning of each month, two young bullocks, one ram, and seven lambs of a year old, and a kid for a sin offering.  (vv. 11-15.)  4. Annual:  (1) the Passover to last seven days;  the offerings, two young bullocks, one ram, seven lambs of a year old, and a he-goat. (vv16-25.)  (2) The day of first-fruits:  the sacrifices the same as on the beginning of the month.  (vv. 26-31.)—Nu 29:---- 1  The offering at the feast of trumpets; 7  at the day of afflicting their souls; 12  and on the eight days of the feast of tabernacles. ---

Spurgeon also wrote--- “the first day of the month-- The monthly sacrifices were regulated by the new moons; and it is probable that the solemn sacrifices were appointed by God to prevent the idolatry which was usual among the heathen at this period; who expressed the most extravagant rejoicings on the first appearance of the new moon.  Moses, however, used the return of the moon only as one of the most natural and convenient measures of time; and appointed sacrifices to Jehovah, to prevent the Israelites from falling into the idolatries of their heathen neighbours.  In the serene climate of Arabia and Judea, its first faint crescent is, for the most part, visible to all.

TODAY WE  PEOPLE CELEBRATING NEW MOONS---We should remember that God created sun and gave it to all living as a heritage, and required them NOT TO WORSHIP SUN, or MOON….Deut 4: 19--.And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.

 (NOTES FROM SPURGEON SHOWS THE HISTORY OF EGYPTIANS---referring to Deut 4: 19--In these verses there is an evident allusion to the idolatrous worship in Egypt.  Among the Egyptians, almost everything in nature was the object of their idolatry; among beasts were oxen, heifers, sheep, goats, lions, dogs, monkeys, and cats; among birds, the ibis, crane, and hawk; among reptiles, the crocodile, serpents, frogs, flies, and beetles; all the fish of the Nile, and the Nile itself; besides the sun, moon, planets, stars, fire, light, air, darkness, and night.  These are all included in the very circumstantial prohibition in the text, and very forcibly in the general terms of Ex 20:4, the reason of which prohibition becomes self-evident, when the various objects of Egyptian idolatry are considered.

Moses was commanded  by God to tell the people—-Ex 19:5  Now therefore, if ye will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people: for all the earth is Mine:

That was in history---now the LORD HIMSELF IS LEADING ISRAEL with supplications, Jer. 31: 9, leading the gentile work (as David), Zec 12: 8-10, as gentiles trust Him, Rom. 15: 12. So gentile work shows the captives of ISRAEL, Isa. 14: 1,2 of LORD’S WAYS TO RETURN TO HIM, AND WHAT LORD REQUIRES FROM THEM----THE FOLLOWING VV. ARE SELF EXPLANATORY--

Eze 36:27  And I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them.

Eze 36:28  And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be My people, and I will be your God.

Zec 13:9  And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on My name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is My people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.—THIS IS MALACHI PURIFICATTION, Mal 3: 1-3.

Joh 10:27- My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me:--ALL BELIEVERS ARE HIS SHEEP!

JESUS CHRIST IS THE FATHER AS WELL, Isa. 9: 6—

Father, Almighty God is JESUS CHRIST, the creator, HE NOW IS CREATING TRUE WORSHIPPING BY GIVING KNOWLEDGE OF HIM--

HE IS THE ALMIGHTY GOD, Rev. 1: 8, Almighty Father, Isa. 9: 6, God of whole earth, Isa. 54: 5, God who was made as a MAN, as SON OF GOD, Heb. 7: 3, who had power to die and to resurrect, Jn 10: 18, the creator, Ps 148:5, Isa 40:26 Isa 42:5, creator of ISRAEL, Isa 43:1, CREATED FOR HIS GLORY, Isa 43:7, He creates Righteousness and salvation, Isa 45:8, created man and heavenly hosts, Isa 45:12, created NOT IN VAIN, but to be INHABITED, Isa 45:18, He creates new things, Isa 48:7, Jer 31:22, created wasters to destroy as He counsels for His purpose, Isa 54:16, (That is He allowed ministry of ISRAEL to be as lions to destroy His land, Jer. 2: 30)----ONE GOD THE CREATOR and FATHER, Mal 2:10, fellowship of mystery, created by Christ, Eph 3:9, WHO CREATES NEW MAN in Righteousness and true holiness of GOD, Eph 4:24--- all things were created by Him, and for Him, Col 1:16, Re 4:11

JESUS CHRIST MAKES ALL THINGS FOR HIS GLORY, FOR HIS HONOUR, FOR HIS PURPOSE. He created Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Moses, Aaron, all of us FOR HIS PURPOSE! The purpose we see is establishing His temple, with a GODLY SEED, and MAKING ALL FLESH TO WORSHIP HIM ON Sabbaths and beginnings of new months, Isa. 66: 22,23, (new moons are beginnings of months, Nu 28; 9-14).

LORD prayed for them---

Joh 17:9 -I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given Me; for they are thine.

Joh 17:24 --Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory,

1Co 3:23- And ye are Christ’s;

1Co 6:20- For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1Co 15:23- But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at His coming.

Ga 5:24 -And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

LORD REQUIRES ISRAEL TO SERVE HIM SO THAT HE COULD SMELL A SWEET SAVOUR---BUT THEY HAD SET IT FOR Eze. 44; 7 STRANGERS--

Eze 16:19  My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.

ISRAEL ERRED BY BREAKING COVENANT, Eze. 44: 7,  THROUGH NOT KEEPING LORD’S JUDGMENTS, Lev. 22: 25.—BUT LORD WOULD ACCEPT THEM AFTER CAPTIVITY IS OVER---

Eze 20:41  I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen.----Eze. 39: 28, 29.

2Th 1:8 --In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

When God had given scriptures to His chosen, they had not practiced them, but acted deceitfully, Jer. 48: 10---for instance H.W.Armstrong did not revive New Moon day worshipping from David;s way, 1 Chr 23: 30-31. They follow his teachings, not CHRIST’S, and PCG became the harlot, Isa. 23: 15, A GREAT HARLOT MYSTERY Babylon, Rev. 17: 5---AS THE LEADER WAS AS Nebuchadnezzar, in a parable against him, Isa. 14: 4, we gentiles were to take that proverb for him, vs. 3.

WHEN CHURCH LEADERS ERR LIKE THAT----COULD WE THINK THAT THEY KNOW GOD???? so the VENGEANCE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THEM--

We are at His mercy, BUT HIS MERCY ENDURETH FOR EVER, Ps. 136. That is the very reason why He sacrificed Himself to establish His Sanctuary, Heb. 8: 1,2, Heb. 7: 1-3, and GIVES NEWNESS OF LIFE TO HIS BELIEVERS, through HIS SACRIFICE, Rom. 6: 3-7, to serve HIM WITH Righteousness unto Holiness, Rom. 6: 19, 22, which HE REQUIRES TO BE WITH THOSE WHO SERVE HIM IN HIS HOUSE, Ps. 77; 13----that is WHY MALACHI PURIFICATION!!

LORD is merciful to fathers, so He creates new men through His sacrifice to give inheritance promised to fathers, Heb. 9: 15. WHAT A GREAT GOD WE HAVE??? When He could have destroyed as days of Noah, HE CHOSE TO SACRIFICE HIMSELF TO SAVE HIS CHOSEN ISRAEL!!

And therefore, ISRAEL NAME WOULD REMAIN BEFORE HIM FOREVER—AND THEY AND ALL FLESH WOULD WORSHIP HIM  AS HE WILLS, on Sabbaths and beginnings of each month—Isa. 66: 22, 23.
