SO WE ARE TO PRAY IN SPIRIT---AND IF AFFLICTED PRAY—but with SPIRIT!

WE SHOULD UNDERSTAND DEEPLY WHAT WE PRAY AND SING!

Praying in the SPIRIT means PRAYING FOR GOD’S WILL ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURES WRITTEN AS HIS SPIRIT, an example from book of Revelations is given in PART 2. Similarly, sing psalms through UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY MEAN!

NEW AND A LIVING WAY NEED UNDERSTANDING FROM INSTRUCTIONS OUT OF HIS LAWS THROUGH HIS JUDGMENTS RECORDED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT—

HOW DO WE KNOW WHETHER WE ARE SONS OF GOD?

SCRIPTURES ANSWER………

Praying, singing should be done according to present truth, ACCORDING TO THE NEEDS OF THIS GENERATION. God’s church as we know had fallen, then JESUS CHRIST builds it again, therefore present truth keeps changing, accordingly we should pray. In book of Revelations we see how some servants of God had prayed and sung, according to present truth. Such are lessons for us, we should examine!

DURING THIS TIME LORD CONSUMES WICKEDNESS, LAWLESSNESS, and GIVES LIFE TO BONES, Eze. 37.

PART 1—

AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD

THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD

Ro 8:14- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Joh 1:12  But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: --13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

15 -John bare witness of Him, and cried, saying, This was He of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for He was before me.----JESUS CHRIST IS ALMIGHTY GOD, Rev. 1: 8, Isa. 9: 6, Isa. 54: 5, Jo 10: 18, Heb. 7: 1-3, HE WAS EVERLIVING. So HE was before John! JESUS CHRIST is preferred before John!----baptizm of JESUS CHRIST is PREFFERED BEFORE John!!

BAPTIZM UNTO HIS DEATH OF JESUS CHRIST which gives Righteousness unto holiness to serve Him, Rom. 6, is preferred before IMMERSION BAPTIZM of REPENTANCE, OF John, Mt 3:11!  

1Jo 5:13  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Ro 8:14- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Ro 8:19 -For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.-17 - And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.- For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

SONS OF GOD ARE CHILDREN OF GOD--

Ga 3:26 -For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

1Jo 3:10- In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

1Jo 5:2- By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments.

SO WHEN WE BELIEVE IN HIS NAME, WE ARE TO LOVE children of God and LOVE GOD TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS

SPIRITUAL things should be spoken SPIRITUALLY---1Co 2:13 -Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.--- 1Co 2:15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. ---Those words say spiritual things should be spoken spiritually, and if one does THOSE THINGS as a DOER of the WORD, Jas 1: 22, 25, that person cannot be judged by any man.---NOW—LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING VV. ---- THEN WE WHO ARE BELIEVERS OF JESUS CHRIST SHOULD STRIVE TO BECOME SPIRITUAL----( Doing according to SPIRIT, which are WORDS OF LIFE, Jo 6: 63, is defined as SPIRITUAL!).

1Co 3:1-- And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.—(Carnal ones are BABES IN CHRIST—they cannot understand spiritual things---therefore, even WHEN the spiritual men speak of spiritual things, we might see the BABES PRODUCING CARNAL THINGS-AS 1 Co 9: 11 says--- 1Co 9:11  If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things?

Ro 7:14 -For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.

SO LAWS WHICH ARE SPIRITUAL CANNOT BE UNDERSTOOD BY THE CARNAL who are UNDER SIN!!!

UNDERSTAND ---because I keep thy precepts---DOERS OF WORD gives MORE UNDERSTANDING---knowledge increases when you become a doer of the word! WORD OF GOD IS AMAZING!---similarly, when knowledge is not used, God gives a debased mind to do inconvenient things as written in Rom. 1; 28-32, Eze. 20: 24, 25.

Pr 6:23- For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:

2Ti 3:15 --holy scriptures, - are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.--16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:---17  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

SO WHEN YOU ARE CORRECTED through scriptures, YOU WOULD be reproved, YOU LEARN TRUE DOCTRINE---INSTRUCTED IN Righteousness---AND BECOME PERFECTED, throughly furnished unto all good works----THAT IS GOD’S WILL IN GIVING HIS INSTRUCTIONS TO US----FOR A NEW AND A LIVING WAY.

Serve newness in spirit-Rom. 7:6

New and living way-newness of life-Rom. 6:6

Rom. 6:7-8 dies with Christ- So we are freed from sin (That is the blessing of blood) through His cross- Col 1;20.

Freed from sin to serve in Righteousness—Rom. 6:19,22

Rom. 5:17-- For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

18  Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. {by the offence … : or, by one offence } {by the righteousness … : or, by one righteousness }

19  For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

20  Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

JESUS CHRIST justified us by faith in Him. Gal 2:16. We get justified by JESUS CHRIST to serve in the New Covenant, by the blood and therefore we are forgiven by His blood, for the past sins, Rom. 6:3-7

Christ is not a minister of sin, Gal 2:17. We died to law that we should live to God-Vs. 19-- For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.—18-- For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor..

Gal 2: 20--I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

21 -I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

We are to serve Him in Holiness, Rom. 6:19,22, Zec 14:20. When Christ lives in us can we sin? Could we entertain bad thoughts in our minds?  

Unless  the law taught us what sins are, ----we do not know sin,--- so to be justified by faith,  law taught us what sins are, Gal 3:29. (Law was a tutor) Therefore the knowledge of LAW TEACHES US WHAT SINS ARE. When Christ forgave, by Baptizm unto His death, to be born again in newness of life, Rom 6: 3-7, which gives HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO HOLINESS, to serve Him, Vs. 19, 22.   He COMMANDED NOT TO SERVE SIN-Rom. 6:6

Therefore with the knowledge through law! WHAT SINS ARE WE KNOW NOT TO COMMIT SINS, when LORD said do not serve sin. Therefore knowledge of law is essential

How do you get defiled-What comes out of man—

Mr 7:20-- And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

21  For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22  Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: {covetousness … : Gr. covetousnesses, wickednesses }

23  All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

So sins defile ----unless the law had taught they are SINS,  you would think the above sins could be a way of life--that is why we establish law      Rom. 6:15,18,19,23

BEING OBEDIENT TO WORDS OF GOD, WE ARE TO WORSHIP HIM AS HE WILLS-

And LORD’S WILL shows Sabbaths and beginnings of new months, Isa. 66: 23. THAT IS WHAT HE HAD WILLED FROM THE BEGINNING—GOD PURPOSED HIS Tabernacle!

2Ch 8:13  ---according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, --it is the same written in Isa. 66: 23--

ACCORDINGLY David kept so—1 Chr 23: 30-31.

If you love GOD’S SPIRIT, Jo 6: 63, and produce fruits of SPIRIT, Gal 5: 22, 23---and judge spiritual compared with spiritual, 1 Co 2: 13—you cannot be judged by any man, 1 Co 2: 15.

PART 2---WHO ARE SONS OF GOD

THE ONLY WAY TO BE BORN OF GOD IS TO –Baptize unto His death, to be born again in newness of life, Rom 6: 3-7, which gives HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO HOLINESS, to serve Him, Vs. 19, 22.

ETERNAL LIFE is to know JESUS CHRIST, Jo 17: 3---THEREFORE WE BELIEVE HIS NAME THROUGH GETTING KNOWLEDGE OF JESUS CHRIST.

(Many people in the world believe HIS NAME, but they DO NOT KNOW HIS WORKS!)

Jas 2:19 -Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20- But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

WHEN ISRAEL ARE GIVEN THE LIGHT OF JESUS CHRIST, Isa. 60: 1-3---THEY HAVE TO BELIEVE AND RETURN TO HIM FROM CAPTIVITY!

Ro 8: 13- For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16  The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17-  And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

AN EXAMPLE WHEN PRAYING IN SPIRIT

1 Co 14: 16  Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

Here are some scriptures that say how God takes care of us--

Ps 121:7 -The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

Isa 27:3 -I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.

Php 4:7- And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

WE ARE TO PRAY FOR OURSELVES

1Th 5:23 - And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Pe 1:5- Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. ---(Gentiles who were chosen as 1^st fruits f poor, Isa. 14: 30, who were cleansed by His blood, and sanctified, Eph. 2: 13, who trust in JESUS CHRIST, Rom. 15: 12, had to be preserved in faith…)

Jude 1:24 --Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,---IT IS JESUS CHRIST WHO WOULD PRESENT US FAULTLESS!!  We pray for ourselves to keep us from falling! (Yet some departed from faith, 1 Tim 4; 1-3).

Gentiles shall bring the light of JESUS CHRIST to ISRAEL, Isa. 60: 1-10, vs.10--the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in My wrath I smote thee, but in My favour have I had mercy on thee.

In GOD’S MERCY ISRAEL ARE BUILT UP TO WORSHIP HIM IN HIS TABERNACLE, HE CREATES, Heb. 8: 1, 2

Heb. 8: 1-Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

2 - A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

IN THE TRUE TABERNACLE, ISRAEL SHOULD LEARN TO PRAY WITH SPIRIT!

Well, ISRAEL are to learn these from gentiles as Isa. 60: 1-3 says!

We had taught how to become a son of God to be a heir of God.  

He purifies us through baptizm into His death to forgive all sins, Rom. 6: 3-7, so that we are dead to law, Rom. 7: 4, (because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead, 2 Co 5: 14), and become faultless to SERVE GOD, in Righteousness unto Holiness, Rom. 6: 19, 22.

We are not to SERVE SIN, Rom. 6: 6, WE ARE TO DEPART FROM INIQUITY WHEN WE NAME JESUS CHRIST, 2 Tim 2; 19.

HERE ARE A FEW PRAYERS THAT ARE BIBLICAL---WE COULD LEARN MUCH FROM THEM---SINCE THOSE PRAYERS ARE MADE UP OF SPIRIT (Spirit is words that gives life, Jo 6: 63).

Ro 8:14- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Book of Revelations records prophecies when JESUS CHRIST opened the book, and seals of it.

TWENTY FOUR ELDERS PRAYED BEFORE JESUS CHRIST –(Please read those chapters).

1 Co 14: 16  Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?----WE ARE TO LISTEN TO THE PRAYER AND UNDERSTAND IT TO SAY AMEN. IF WE HAD NOT LEARNED OF THEM, WE CANNOT SAY AMEN!

Rev. 4: 10, 11----Rev. 5: 8-10----Rev. 11: 16-18 are explained.

So those HEADS led the services of God through their TWENTY FOUR sons, 1 Chr 25.

1 Chr 23 to 25 we see how God’s services during David’s time were done! They are wonderful services, with wonderful musical instruments! (Please read them to learn from them).

Re 4:10 --The four and twenty elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne, and worship Him that liveth forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

11 -Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

WHEN these Elders prayed---they knew LORD’S VISION, HIS POWERS, HIS PLEASURES, AND HIS CREATION OF ALL THINGS!! They knew that GOD IS EVERLIVING---and HE WILLS THOSE CHOSEN TO WORSHIP HIM----they knew that they are to reverence Him, by PUTTING DOWN THEIR CROWNS!!!----they as KING PRIESTS, knew they ARE SERVING THE GOD OF WHOLE EARTH!

Above ALL THEY KNEW---JESUS CHRIST IS TO RECEIVE GLORY AND HONOUR!

And that ALL MEN ARE TO HONOUR HIM, if those KING PRIESTS bow down, others are to bow down too!

Re 5:8  And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.—9-- they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 -And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

--IT IS A NEW SONG---

ONLY JESUS CHRIST is worthy to take the BOOK and OPEN THE SEALS—that means only JESUS CHRIST would know the contents!

THOU WAS SLAIN ---the elders prayed KNOWING the  FACTS on DEATH OF THE LAMB! (Please note---Asaph wrote Ps. 73 to psalm 83---So Asaph’s sons know about these times, psalms are about JESUS CHRIST, Lu 24: 44---Ps. 74: 9 says “THERE IS NO MORE PROPHET”). ---SO THEY PRAYED WITH UNDERSTANDING!

“hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;”-----THEY KNEW OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST TO REDEEM THE KINDREDS!!

Kindreds are relations---ISRAEL had twelve sons---they are tribes---when times goes on ---their GENERATIONS WOULD MAKE A LOT OF PEOPLE---among them---you find many tongues- (THEIR VERSIONS OF WORSHIPPING GOD DEFERS)—Abraham was told that his seed would grow as sand of sea and stars of heaven Ge 15:5 ---SO THAT WOULD MAKE MANY PEOPLE---they are scattered in many nations----MOREOVER, LORD SCATTERED THEM IN CAPTIVITY IN MANY NATIONS, Eze. 12: 13-15.

When ISRAEL broke covenant, she was spoken as a great whore, Eze. 16: 15-59, Rev. 17: 5—

IN Revelations 17: 1-5 SAYS THE WHORE SITS ON “WATERS”---and “WATERS” is “many nations”---Rev. 17: 15.

Asaph wrote Ps. 73—83—the following are from his psalms—

Ps. 73: 10- Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

11  And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

12  Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.

(Laodicean riches were prophesied among God’s people of ISRAEL!)

Ps 74:13  Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.- 14  Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.

Recently we wrote on Leviathan, Isa. 27: 1-- In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

That LEVIATHAN is among “WATERS” the “nations” where God’s church sits as a whore!

The present leader of this generation of ISRAEL was compared to be the LEVIATHAN.

THE FOLLOWING VV. SAY OF Levi HOW THEY ARE SEPARATED FOR GOD—

Ex 19:6 -And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Jos 18:7 -But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance:

Nu 18:23 -But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.

De 10:9 -Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.

De 18:1 -The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and his inheritance.

Heb 7:5 -And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood,

Heb 7:12- For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Mal 2: 4--And ye shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that My covenant might be with Levi, saith the LORD of hosts.

This is why MALACHI PURIFICATION, Mal 3: 1-3.

So we see how the TWENTY FOUR ELDERS prayed with understanding---they all knew what was prophesied by psalms, and they knew the DUTIES OF Levi AND THE AWESOMS RESPONSIBILITY TO SERVE THE ONLY GOD OF WHOLE EARTH, THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS!

Re 11:16 -And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17  Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18--And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Revelations show us LORD’S DAY WORK. This is like the parable –

Lu 12; 36---And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

37  Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

SO ALL THESE HAD COME TO PASS IN GOD’S HOUSE AMONG LEADERS!

They are those who DEAD as Pharaoh and his multitude, LORD CAUSED HIS TERROR among them, Eze. 32: 32, Pharaoh is the comparison for leader who broke covenant, who is in Babylon, Eze. 17: 18-20. Leaders who were in GOD’S LAND OF LIVING, Eze. 16: 6, terrorized as NATIONS, Eze. 32: 23—27, 30. They are the “GREAT”--THEY SERVED GOD WITH THEIR OWN WORKS, Jer. 2: 30, they exalted H.W.Armstrong! the “SMALL” are the gentiles.

WE WHO WORSHIP GOD SHOULD KNOW HIS WONDERFUL WORKS AND SING WITH JOY IN GOD’S CHURCH TO EXALT HIM, TO PRAISE HIM AND GIVE HIM THANKSGIVING!

Let us examine song of Moses, and song of LAMB according to present truth---

Re 15:3  And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.--4 --Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Judgments had been manifested, ISRAEL judged as HAVING PIRECED THE LORD AGAIN, and LAMB FORGIVES ISRAEL HIS CHOSEN ---Ro 3:21  But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested,---(just as LORD forgave gentiles through His blood, Eph. 2: 13).

SO LORD REMOVES WICKEDNESS FROM LEADERS, THROUGH POURING HIS SPIRIT AND HIS SACRIFICE TO GIVE NEWNESS OF LIFE, through HIS Baptizm unto His death, to be born again in newness of life, Rom 6: 3-7, which gives HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO HOLINESS, to serve Him, Vs. 19, 22.   ----AND WICKEDNESS WOULD GO UP LIKE SMOKE, Isa. 9; 18. Such are having the responsibility to guard laws written in their hearts, Heb. 8: 10, 10: 16, as a work of Cherubs are NOT SPOKEN PARTICULARLY, Heb. 9: 5, because EVERY BELIEVER WHO TAKES HIS NAME through baptizm unto His death, Rom. 6, IS A TEMPLE, BELONGING TO GOD,

1Co 3:16 -Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

17 -If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

1Co 6:19 -What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

All angels believe God’s TRUE and RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENTS—

Rev. 16: 5- And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

6 -For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

7- And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

TODAY WE HAD SEEN THAT GOD HAD MADE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENTS.
