LESSONS FOR NEW COVENANT FROM DAVID AS DAVID TYPE OF A LEADER WOULD BE CHOSEN TO RULE CHURCH OF GOD AMIDST ISRAEL
Am 9:11 --In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: PCG had key of David, Isa 22: 22-24, and failed, Isa 22: 25! · So the LORD is rebuilding it with LIGHT OF LAMB, giving IMMORTALITY to LIGHT through words of gospel, 2 Tim 1: 10, (Righteousness is Light, Ps. 37: 6) (Read in Nos. 884, 887 in -- www.restoringcaptivity.com Ho 3:5 -Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and His goodness in the latter days.—Philadelphia Church of God (PCG) would not have broken COVENANT, Eze. 44: 7—IF THEY FEARED AND HONOURED GOD! · We should have FEAR of CELSETIAL ALMIGHTY as we have to GUARD the EVERLASTING COVENANT, He would establish with PCG, making PCG shamed, Eze. 16: 60-63. DAVID as PRINCE in EVERLASTING COVENANT OFFER SACRIFICES UNTO ALMIGHTY (That is a ROYAL PRIEST) Eze 34:24 --And I the LORD will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it. Eze 37:25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob My servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children forever: and My servant David shall be their prince forever. ---WE SEE EVERLASTING COVENANT, their children, and their children’s children—Isa 59: 21----and--- David as Prince in Ezekiel temple Eze 46:4 -And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto the LORD-- Eze 46:2 And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without,-- Eze 45:17 And it shall be the prince’s part to give burnt offerings,--so DAVID would be their PRINCE offering unto the LORD. DAVID IS KING of ISRAEL He SHEPHERDS Eze 37:24 -And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them. · Offerings are according TO SUBSTANCE OF CHRIST, Col 2: 17, read in No 873, 886-in www.restoringcaptivity.com LOOK AT SOME JUDGMENTS through baptizm unto His death, THAT ARE CRUCIAL IN SERVICE TO ALMIGHTY LAMB -- · They would be born again in newness of life by baptizm of Rom. 6: 3-12, reckoning to be CRUCIFIED WITH HIM, Rom.6: 6, 11, to receive Righteousness unto Holiness, Rom.6: 13-19, and receive gift of ETERNAL LIFE, vs.23. · That is also BEGOTTEN AGAIN, 1 Pe 1: 3 · Baptizm is ANTI-TYPE to sin, 1 Pe 3: 21 · 2 Co 4: 10--Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. CRUCIFIED with HIM, Rom. 6: 6 has to be ALWAYS IN OUR MINDS). · 1Co 15:31 -I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. PAUL was having “DYING OF THE LORD in body” 2 Co 4: 10 which is commanded to bear in our bodies—so that WE ALWAYS RECOGNIZE ourselves as HIS BRETHREN, SERVING HIM, HONOURING HIS DEATH, for God so loved the world HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, Jn. 3: 16—otherwise THE WHOLE WORLD WOULD BE FINISHED AGAIN, as HE SAYS – IT IS HIS LONGSUFFERING AS SALVATION That saves the world, read the scriptures below to understand Mt 24:37 -But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Mt 24:38- For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, Mt. 24: 39--so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. · MESSIAH came the second time to give SALVATION, Heb. 9: 28, AT A TIME the world is like days of NOAH –but as promised to Noah HE would not destroy, but showing “The rainbow” HE PROMISED THE EVERLASTING COVENANT, Gen. 9: 16-17, although PCG prophet was shown the “BOW” Eze. 1: 28, he did not understand it as Eze. 16: 60-63 (during his time) but IN HIS MERCY He had counseled a GENTILE WORK to give LIGHT TO ISRAEL, Isa 60. MESSIAH had created a NARROW PATH Difficult for all to enter Mt 7:14 -Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. · How I understand is—it would be difficult with many people to teach HIS WAYS UNTO LIFE—so He had counseled a mustard seed to begin with, Mt.:13: 31 I had shown how mustard seed works in No 889 (if you have faith as a mustard seed –mountains could be moved into sea, Mt. 17: 20, Lu. 17: 6—and Eze. 28: 4-9 says to Tyrus who exalted against MOST HIGH that he would be put in sea—MUSTARD SEED is compared to our work—the SOLITARY in family had BEEN SET BY GOD, Ps. 68: 6 Ships of Tarshish is served by one person! · What I say is---THE GREAT AND AWESOME ALMIGHTY HAD WRITTEN HIS COUNSELS and how they WORK SMOOTHLY!! · None of us have to be proud –but GLORY IN THE WORK OF GOD!! THE MERCY OF GOD IS SEEN IN GIVING SALVATION WHEN HE IS LONGSUFFERING Ro 9:22- What if God, willing to shew His wrath, and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:--He shows His power amidst vessels he had made to DESTROY! 2Pe 3:15 -And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; · God gave wisdom to PAUL to write so! DO YOU DESPISE HIM who LEADS you TO Repentance??? Ro 2:4- Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? Ro 2:5 -But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;--because PCG did NOT REPENT even after LORD sending ALL PROPHETS, to repent for abominations, they started ON ANOTHER god, H. Armstrong--Jer. 44: 4, 5, David TO SHEPHERD HIS SHEEP Under the GREAT SHEPHERD through BLOOD of EVERLASTING COVENANT, Heb. 13: 20-21 Eze 34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. Promises to David— 1Ki 11:36 ---David My servant may have a light alway before Me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen Me to put My name there. Jer 33:22 -As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. Kingdom of heaven begins with a MUSTARD SEED, Mt. 13: 31, In the time to come—it would grow -- Now the world is deceived, Rev.12: 9---even the church is deceived NOT KNOWING LAMB! · LAMB counseled HIS WAR TO GIVE HIS LIGHT as Righteousness to His church in an EVERLASTING COVENANT, Eze. 16; 60-63. LAMB wins HIS WAR, Rev. 17; 14, · PCG which had responsibility failed in David’s work, so it was taken back, Isa 22; 25, strangers were prophesied to serve, 2 Sam 22: 44-45. It fulfilled, Zec.12: 8-10, Zec. 6: 15. Jer 33: 25 -Thus saith the LORD; If My covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;--Look at Gen. 1; 3-5—CHRIST was to be the LIGHT created on DAY ONE-—to DIVIDE DAY and NIGHT---“DAY STAR” and PROPHETS OF NIGHT, Mic 3: 6. HE FULFILLED that work, by Eph. 5: 11-13—MESSIAH as LIGHT did manifest the DARK DEEDS (Unfruitful works) OF NIGHT, through judgments, Read in Nos. 625, 878 in www.restoringcaptivity.com 26 -Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them. 1Ki 2:11 --David reigned over Israel forty years: David’s advice to Solomon 1 kin 2; 2 I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;--WE SHOULD SEE who is A JUST MAN-- 3 And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself: --that was in OLD COVENANT –In EVERLASTING COVENANT we are to EXALT MESSIAH the priest forever after the order of Melchisedec, Heb. 5: 6, 10, He entered the HOLIEST, THE REST OF GOD, Heb. 6; 20 ---He gives us ability to enter HOLIEST through HIS FLESH AND BLOOD, Heb. 10: 19-20—eating His FLESH is eating HIS LIVING WORDS, Jn. 6; 63. 4 That the LORD may continue his word which he spake concerning me, saying, If thy children take heed to their way, to walk before me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, there shall not fail thee (said he) a man on the throne of Israel.---so trusting in MESSIAH in EVERLASTING COVENANT, Isa 59: 21, as written in this article, LORD’S words would FULFILL-- Jer 33:22 -As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me. IN HISTORY IT WAS NATURAL, 2 Sam 5: 7, BUT IN EVERLASTING COVENANT ZION, JERUSALEM IS SPIRITUAL read in No 889 in www.restoringcaptivity.com 2 Sam 5:7- Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David. Ps 147:12 -Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.—LORD revives David, Amos 9: 11, as key of David failed amidst PCG, Isa 22: 25. · UNDER EVERLASTING COVENANT NEW JERUSALEM would be CREATED BY LAMB’S BLOOD, people who TRUST in the LORD as ZION, Ps. 125: 1-3, would be as NEW JERUSALEM THE BRIDE OF LAMB, Rev. 19: 7, 8. Read in No 889 in www.restoringcaptivity.com When all ISRAEL failed, Dan 9: 11, and PCG broke COVENANT, Eze. 44: 7, --JERUSALEM is desolated--Isa 64:10 -Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation. The covenant is broken by end time ISRAEL, Eze.44: 7! Anyone who LOVES GOD would be very sad for what had happened to GOD’S HOLY DWELLING PLACE!!!!--Today LORD revives David, Amos 9: 11— ALMIGHTY THE CREATOR OF ALL THINGS IN THE WORLD, CHOSE Jerusalem and a ruler of the type of David to RULE ISRAEL HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE WHO ARE CALLED TO HIS CHURCH, spiritual Jerusalem!---NOT ALL ISRAEL is ISRAEL, Rom. 9: 4, 6, BUT IT IS CHURCH where THE LAMP of David BURNS BEFORE GOD OF WHOLE EARTH!!! Facts about David in history God chose Jerusalem and David, 1Ki 2:11, 2Sa 5:4, 1Ch 29:26. David served in temple as God had instructed, 1 Chr 23; 30-31, according to Num. chapter. 28—and ch. 29-- just as IT IS DECREED FOREVER, Isa. 66: 23. God said “MY SERVICE” has to be distinguished from service of other nations, 2 Chr 12: 8. David served that way---1 Chr 23: 30-31. PCG did not do so—but--David is revived—Amos 9;11 David HAD A HEART TO DO the WILL OF GOD, Acts 13: 22. David knew that ALMIGHTY IS EVERLASTING, and HE ESTABLISHES EVERLASTING COVENANT—that is Commandment of EVERLASTING LIFE, IN WHICH WE WOULD SEE EVERLASTING COVENANT, which was the WILL OF MESSIAH, Jn. 12: 49, 50. Jerusalem is the HOLY HABITATION of GOD ALMIGHTY—Ps. 135:21, · For EVERLASTING COVENANT which is HIS WILL, Heb. 10; 7, 9, LAMB makes SPIRITUAL PEOPLE out of NATURAL PEOPLE, 1 Co 15; 40-53, therefore SPIRITUAL JERUSALEM AND SPIRITUAL ZION , 125; 1-3 would be established. DAVID WAS GIVEN TO delight in MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS Out of His creations God delights in men, Pr 8: 31—36, Men delights in musical instruments, Ec 2: 8, it is written for ISRAEL to worship God, Ex. 3: 18- · ALMIGHTY made David to delight in music TO PRAISE ALMIGHTY · His psalms are what GOD GAVE TO HIS MOUTH through SPIRIT OF GOD, 2 Sam 23: 1, 2. SPIRIT OF GOD IS HIS “living” WORDS, Jn. 6: 63— · Therefore THE LIFE in Sanctuary is PROPHESIED IN HIS PSALMS · Psalms are prophecies about JESUS CHRIST, Lu. 22: 44. David performed a wonderful service to ALMIGHTY And HE MADE MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS HIMSELF 1 Chr 23: 1-So when David was old and full of days, he made Solomon his son king over Israel. 2- And he gathered together all the princes of Israel, with the priests and the Levites. 3 -Now the Levites were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand. 4 -Of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges: 5 -Moreover four thousand were porters; and four thousand praised the LORD with the instruments which I made, said David, to praise therewith. 6 -And David divided them into courses among the sons of Levi, namely, Gershon, Kohath, and Merari. 1Chr 25: 1 –Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was: Vv 2-6 says Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman had twenty four sons—THEY ARE THE 24 ELDERS! READ— 789 WORDS OF DAVID AND ASAPH HELP THE CAPTIVES TODAY JUST AS THEY HELPED CAPTIVES DURING DAYS OF KING HEZEKIAH Ps. 73 to 83 In www.restoringcaptivity.com Out of His creations God delights in men, Pr 8: 31—36, Men delights in musical instruments, Ec 2: 8, it is written for ISRAEL to worship God, Ex. 3: 18-20, they are to be 1st born, Ex. 4; 22, so they are chosen, not all ISRAEL, but those who have covenant, Rom. 9: 4, 6, MEN of chosen ISRAEL ARE TO SING PRAISES TO GOD THE KING with understanding, Ps. 47: 7, when MEN DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY WORSHIP, THEY ARE AS BEASTS THAT PERISH, Ps. 49: 20---therefore, LORD REQUIRES ISRAEL TO UNDERSTAND GOD’S Righteousness and Holiness, to worship HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH! In SPIRIT means to understand from HIS WORDS---SO GOD’S TRUTHS AND INSTRUCTIONS TO WORSHIP HIM ON CHOSEN DAYS, NU 28, 29, Isa. 66: 23, are TO BE PERFORMED AS David did, 1 Chr 23: 30-31, BUT ACCORDING TO SUBSTANCE OF CHRIST , Col 2: 17. David is descendant of Abraham, Mt 1; 17, Type of David is chosen to rule ISRAEL, In Eternal covenant, as written above, also in Eze. 37: 21-28. When covenant between GOD OF WHOLE EARTH, and HIS CHOSEN ISRAEL PEOPLE, Jo 6: 44, 45, IS BROKEN, Eze. 16: 59, they had sinned as dead, Rom. 6: 2, THAT MEANS-- ISRAEL IS NO MORE IN THE COVENANT! IN GOD’S MERCY, He called the gentiles who hear His SALVATION, Acts 28: 28, Rom. 15: 12, Isa. 42: 4, 15 to serve Him in salvation, HE CLEANSED gentiles through His blood, and grafted them to His vine, ISRAEL, Eph. 2: 11-13, as RAISED AS HE RAISED, Eph. 2: 5, 6, (That is blessing of baptizm, Rom. 6), Rom. 11: 17-22. NOW LORD REQUIRES THOSE GENTILES TO SHOW THE MERCY THEY RECEIVED, Rom. 11: 30-31, and they give messages of covenant, serving THE MESSENGER OF COVENANT, Mal 3: 1-5—since judgments teach His Righteousness, LORD made the gentiles to judge as His saints! Isa 26:9 --When thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness---SO LORD HAD CHOSEN A WAY TO TEACH Righteousness through judgments!---then, the word should teach us of two kinds of people---SOME TO SERVE JUDGMENTS of GOD to those WHO ERR!! Then they LEARN Righteousness of God---through the WORD OF GOD! PRAISE BE TO HIM. MORE FACTS TO NOTE DURING AND AFTER THE TIME OF DAVID 2 Chr 30:1-2 1 Chr 9:26-34—Levi had charge of sanctuary—they lived in Jerusalem · Chr 15:2, No one but Levi chosen to carry ark of covenant said David MOST HIGH CHOSE JERUSALEM AND DAVID—2 Chr 6:5,. Lord put His name in Jerusalem –Jer 7:14 has PCG put name of H.W. Armstrong? 1 Chr 11:5-7 David took stronghold of Zion (that is city of David) Vs 9—David became great, 1 Chr 15:27—David wore a linen ephod and a robe (which meant that he was a royal priest—king and priest according to Ex 28: 4 --priestly garments, and because he was king—a king and a priest) HIGH PRIEST OF MELCHISEDEC ORDER is a KING and PRIEST, Ge 14:18 In new covenant days--1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:--- Levi dwelt in Jerusalem –1 Chr 9:34 Blessed be the Most High out of Zion who dwell in Jerusalem, Ps 135:21, He clothes priest with salvation, Ps 132:13,16,17. 1 Ch 9:1—Israel recorded by genealogies but Judah carried away to Babylon. Therefore Judah had been proven of unfaithfulness as it is in present times (La 1:3 in last days, Eze 17:17-21) ISRAEL in Babylon, Mic 4:10 1 Ch 14:2—David king Israel exalted highly for the sake of God’s people. 1Ki 2:11 --David reigned over Israel forty years: 1 Ch 17—Covenant with David—PCG had key of David, and failed, Isa 22: 25! DAVID PRAISED ALMIGHTY FOR CHOOSING DAVID 1 Chr 17: 18 What can David speak more to thee for the honour of thy servant? for thou knowest thy servant. 19 O LORD, for thy servant’s sake, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this greatness, in making known all these great things. 20 O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 21 And what one nation in the earth is like thy people Israel, whom God went to redeem to be his own people, to make thee a name of greatness and terribleness, by driving out nations from before thy people, whom thou hast redeemed out of Egypt? 22 For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, LORD, becamest their God. 23 Therefore now, LORD, let the thing that thou hast spoken concerning thy servant and concerning his house be established for ever, and do as thou hast said. 24 Let it even be established, that thy name may be magnified for ever, saying, The LORD of hosts is the God of Israel, even a God to Israel: and let the house of David thy servant be established before thee.—THERE IS ONE CELESTIAL BODY, 1 Co 15; 40-44, HE CHOSE ISRAEL AS HIS PEOPLE! Shows God choosing Israel as a special people to Him and David’s house is established before Him, Isa 9:6,7, Amos 9:11, David as King of Israel to lead worship- Eze 37:21-28, 46:1-6. 1 Chr 18:14—David reigned over all Israel and administered judgments and justice to all his people, vs 6 Lord preserved David wherever he went. 1 Ch 21:1 Satan moved David to number (God had allowed him to do so because of anger of the Lord against Israel—2 Sam 21:1 David repented, 1 Chr 21:24:8 · Sam 22:44-51 David 1st delivered, Ps 105:1-15, 1 Chr 16:7—old ark is a pattern. Ark is a pattern, Heb. 8:5-13, 9:9, 23,24,10:1. In EVERLASTING COVENANT He makes us spiritual, 1 Co 15; 40-53, as GOD IS SPIRIT, and we are to WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH, Jn. 4; 23, 24. David type leader in EVERLASTING COVENANT would be a Spiritual man, and he would thoroughly know the substance of Christ the LAMB, Col 2: 17, to perform THE SERVICE OF CELESTIAL ELOHIM perfectly and He would be assisted by the perfect ministry. The Ministry to be proving that they have Christ in them, 2 Co.13:3-7. (Vs. 5) 2 Co 13:3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.—PAUL proved CHRIST in him, Gal. 2: 19-21. 4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (When crucified with Him, CHRIST lived in PAUL, Gal. 2: 20) –that is when crucified with Him in baptism Rom.6: 6, CHRIST WOULD LIVE IN any believer! Paul proved –Gal 2:19-21 (Vs 20) ships of Tarshish proves—1 Jn 2:27---But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him. Jn. 6; 56 --He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. · We live in Him, and HE in us! (When people are made spiritual by Messiah the Lamb, 1 Co 15 (No 879 in www.restoringcaptivity.com) they would understand His words, WORDS are HIS SPIRIT, the HOLY SPIRIT, Jn 6:63 (His word have life, they quicken, Jn 6:63) Therefore people would serve HIM PERFORMING HIS WORDS as LIVING BEFORE HIM. LEADERS as DAVID and MINISTRY would understand words of Jesus Christ, His apostles and Paul to serve Elohim and take care of people of God (His sheep) Heb 13;20-21 so that they live according to Righteous ways, without sin---- for if anyone defiles His temple, Elohim would destroy him, 1 Co 3;17 1 Co 3; 15 -If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. when burnt by His fire,--by His words, Jer. 5: 14, wickedness goes away as SMOKE, Isa 9: 18, Rev. 18; 8, 9. 16 -Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? OUR BODIES ARE TEMPLES storing HIS WORDS, THE SPIRIT! 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. None could work with his own words-- 18- Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19-19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 20- And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. Ec 1: 2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity. But the CREATOR HAS A HOPE through their VANITY, Rom. 8: 20 WHAT IS THIS HOPE?-Rom. 8: 21--Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. Therefore---“VANITY of men of God” is given to them by ALMIGHTY HAVING THE HOPE OF DELIVERING THEM, TO MAKE THEM CHILDREN OF GOD, Rom. 8: 20-21 –BECAUSE men in VANITY, CANNOT SERVE THE MOST HIGH! This means MOST HIGH created VANITY among men, SO THAT HE WOULD SHOW that MEN IN VANITY cannot serve HIM! This is Like He created SATAN to show that people should NOT GIVE IN TO SATAN!
